Now that Mass Effect 3 has been out for a few months, Gaming Irresponsibly takes a look at the possibilities of Mass Effect 4. Whether it be a prequel, sequel or something completely different, another Mass Effect is most certainly happening.
"Bioware announced today in a press release that the original Mass Effect is on tap for a remake this year. Don’t expect the same game though, says Bioware, as they plan for a number of surprises, but some of those surprises were accidentaly revealed when Casey Hudson appeared on the French talk show "Le Jeux" this weekend."
Some info regarding Mass Effect 2 has surfaced on the Internet, or so the now deleted post claimed. It is a rather extensive list and if true certainly looks to be a big improvement over its precursor. Some of the leaked info includes 5 player co-op. The story of the sequel beginning two months after the end of the last one. The promise of competitive multiplayer. And finally the increasing of the level cap to 120 and much, much more. Mass Effect is a much anticipated title for the 360 and is just weeks away from going 'GOLD' where the game is ready for shipment and distribution. But has something gone wrong at Bioware? Apparently around 20 members of the 100 member team working on Mass Effect have quit although it is unsure which ones. This certainly looks bad for the already suggested sequels.
