BioWare is bringing Mass Effect 2 to the PlayStation 3. What changes are being made? What added bonuses will PlayStation 3 owners get? And how will the devs bring the once Xbox 360 and PC exclusive story to Sony's console?

It's been awhile since we last received any substantial new information regarding Mass Effect 2, but Bioware have came back with a bang revealing the return of Garrus as well as the new evil plaguing Citadel Controlled Space.

"While we are all waiting to get our hands on the much anticipated Mass Effect 2, lead writer Mac Walters is working hard on creating a brand new story for the Mass Effect universe in the form of a comic book titled Mass Effect: Redemption. The story is exclusive to the comic and will follow a member of Commander Shepard’s team Dr. Liara T’Soni on a “deadly mission of extraordinary importance in Milky Way’s Lawless Terminus System’."

BioWare's Casey Hudson and Christina Norman led a closed demonstration for us last week at E3, dropping plenty of details to get any Mass Effect fan going. Shepard, as many of us have learned by now, is in fact ALIVE... but that could all change in Mass Effect 2. Yes, he / she can still die, depending on how you play the game.
