Flippin' sweet week to be a DS owner, and well, if you're reading this (as in, on a PC), it's also a good time to be a gamer. Spore comes out for the DS and PC, sports fans get NHL 2K9 and NHL '09 to choose from on all consoles, and DS owners also get Viva Pinata, the fabulously old school RPG Mazes of Fate (finally!), another interesting looking RPG Lock's Quest, a new color for the system, and more.

Mazes of Fate was originally released on the GameBoy Advance, in 2006. Not the most popular game in the world, but they decided to give it a hefty update for the DS. The game was rumoured to not be coming out after little attention was paid to it, but AllGame has posted some new screens and features for it, and the release date (August 12) still stands. Get ready for this deliciously oldschool RPG!
