"Today, during the “Archie Comics Means Business!” panel at the New York Comic-Con, Archie Comics announced that, through a partnership with Capcom, they will be producing a new comic book series based on the original Mega Man in 2011."
"While there’s no denying the charm of an 8-bit Queen DJ Hero mash-up, some developers have gone against the grain and revived some hits from the 80s and 90s to today’s standards. Not only are these fan-made creations (mostly) good, some even rival what the bigwigs are pumping out."
Capcom has updated their best-selling franchises list with the latest sales figures for Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Mega Man, Monster Hunter and more.
"Some games are so popular that they were bound to expand to other mediums. For many, it’s all about manga. What makes manga about video game characters so compelling is that the comic creators get to flesh out the storylines and characters, and sometimes even re-imagine the stories in ways that actually make the characters more interesting."

"A lot of people complain about Microsoft Points, saying they’re deceptive as to how much you are actually spending when the idea of credit like this is to help curb your spending or make you more aware of it. Even now we can be a bit loose with our cash but when it comes to online credit we are incredibly tight and unwilling to part with our “imaginary” money."
"Capcom's retro-styled Mega Man 10 finally drops on to Xbox Live today after coming to the Wii and PS3 first. The classic series features classic 8-bit game play and platforming."
"Mega Man 10 has practically two different experiences after the title screen. Unlike the mixed bag of Mega Man 9 that crushed players old and new with its punishing difficulty, the tenth outing for the blue bomber offers an easier mode. The easy mode found inside is comparable to Mega Man 6 in the sense while it is easy it still has challenge to it. The normal difficulty is along the lines of what 9 brought but with a little edge taken off."
"Though Mega Man is known for its clever and sometimes ridiculously extravagant stage design, the bosses send fans in a fit of rage against their poor controllers, due to their difficulty spike. We take you through a step-by-step walkthrough of which boss to start with, and which one to end with."
"This week's now shipping will bring a fantasy game like no other that finally see's its debut in North America and Europe, the chinese mafia and a good amount of downloads to keep you busy for awhile."
Classic games remakes have been on fire lately, often being re-released without being touched at all. In some cases, sequels have been created in the spirit of the 8-bit era. Of course, we're speaking in particular to the two new Mega Man games. Frankly this is a fantastic turn of events in the gaming industry.
"Nintendo fans can trip out to an onslaught of beats and colours with BIT.TRIP VOID and save the world from virus-infected robots in Mega Man 10 all available to download on WiiWare this week. The conference portion of Nintendo of America's media summit has ended today, and here's a full recap of the announcements:
"From the "lowly" pixel came some of the most realistic high definition, three dimensional graphics known to man, some on parallel ground with modern films. If this were any other area of technology, the old would have been thrown out for the new ages ago. But regardless of how far we've come in making games look incredibly realistic and beautiful, the 8-bit style just won't seem to die.
Think of pixels and color limitations as just another artistic medium. If 8-bit is acrylic paints and a ..."

"The Nintendo Wii is currently the top console on the market this generation, and Nintendo and its third-party publishers are going to make sure that it stays on top of the game. There will be plenty of new titles to play this year -- sequels to popular franchises as well as new IPs, both on retail disk as well as digital download -- so don't think for a second that it'll be a "sparse" and "light" 2010 when it comes to Wii gaming.
Here's a quick look at the games we're most looking forward ..."
