Compared to Europe's four game bonanza, North America gets another paltry two games. However, don't look past the quality of these two games.

The first game is the popular cute-em-up, Fantasy Zone, for the Sega Master System. The controllable sentient spaceship Opa-Opa makes cameos in various Sega games afterwards, including appearing as a rare mag in Phantasy Star Online.

A few weeks ago, Europe got the Contra and Metroid bastardization, Super Turrican. Not really content to limiting themselves to just that, Europe gets another one of those games to their Virtual Console.

The game is Mega Turrican for the Sega Mega Drive, with the alternate title of Turrican 3. If you were a fan of Super Turrican, then Mega Turrican should be a treat.



Also of note, is that there's a Wii Shop Channel update that just preps the channel for WiiWare.
