While mulling a possible launch trailer for Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Hideo Kojima recently commented about how the excellent trailers are created in the previous Metal Gear Solid games.
Kojima Productions explain their decision to include both the standard widescreen and super widescreen aspect ratios in addition to providing a few more details.
Konami has revealed that several gameplay modes from original Playstation 2 version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence won’t be included in Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

Hideo Kojima has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will also include Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. He also detailed the differences between the Japanese and western versions in addition to revealing which version of Metal Gear Solid 2 is being used for the high-definition remastered port.
Both Amazon and GameStop has listed a new, earlier release date for the upcoming Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 high-definition remastered compilation, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.
The Japanese box arts have been revealed for the Metal Gear Solid HD Edition, Zone of the Enders HD Edition and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

A Turkish man has escaped a prison in western Germany by making use of the tried and true Solid Snake method of using a cardboard box. There is now a manhunt taking place to recapture the clever escapee.

In the Electronic Gaming Monthly Magazine for October, Bryan Intihar overviews the differences from the Old Snake from Metal Gear Solid 3 and the New Snake of Metal Gear Solid 4. Intihar looks at the various differences including shooting and the online play. Which Snake is better is up to you, but hear Intihar out first.
While some might suggest that Ubisoft's Sam Fisher is the king of gaming stealth, the one true king - regardless of any past failings - remains a certain Mr. Solid Snake from Kojima. As the Metal Gear Solid franchise approaches the 20-year marker, its creator offers up insight into its history and effects.

Konami have decided to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Metal Gear in style by opening up this new page on their official website, and I have to say it's looking pretty good! The Metal Gear series has had success on all these different platforms, so it deserves to be recognised.
