With the extensive amount of pre-order bonuses being offered by Gamestop in North America, Nintendo is trying to promote the release in the UK by allowing players to download the original Metroid on the Virtual Console for free. The catch is that you have to be amongst the first 5000 people to register the game on Club Nintendo.

As if the sick box art and art booklet weren't enough for you to pick up the game, but Gamestop are also throwing in a pretty sweet t-shirt. But the bonuses don't stop there. Fans of the Metroid Prime games will be happy to know that Nintendo will be releasing all three games on a single disc.
