"No matter how you spin it, Mirror's Edge has been a flop. In an effort to boost sales, EA and DICE has announced that the Time Trial Mode in the demo that was previously exclusive to those who pre-ordered from Gamestop has been unlocked to the general public. All you have to do is head to the main menu, select "Race", then pick "Play Time Trial". When prompted, just enter any 16-digit code in order to unlock the mode.

It’s been posted on the Mirror’s Edge site that the demo of Mirror’s Edge his heading to both the Playstation Network and Xbox LIVE on the 30th and 31st October (respectively). The demo will feature a prelude to the story of the game, a short tutorial to give you a feel for things and then a nice segment of the singleplayer story mode.

Mirror's Edge will be getting a demo for PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 6th, less than a week before the full version of the title releases. A PC version is planned for later in the year.

A little confusion has been rumbling around the web lately, with some reports saying that the Mirror's Edge demo would be coming out September 26th.

Unfortunately, they were wrong. EA has told PlayStation Beyond that it is not true.
