Do we have a treat for you today. If you've ever wondered what a Call of Duty game would look in the real world, then check out the video below. Cheers!

FPS fans will definitely want to check out this retrospective fan video compilation covering 30 years worth of games in the genre. We've come a long way, baby.

"The guy getting killed: major phail. Not only does he not pay attention to anything and seems to have a fondness of the porta-potty, he admits to doing what we all know and hate: camping"

"You’ve got to admit it: watching someone else do something horribly embarrassing puts a smile on your face and laughter in your heart like nothing else. It’s a phenomenon that has yet to be explained, but is hilarious nonetheless."

Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling breaks down the maps in the upcoming Resurgence Map Pack due out on Xbox Live on June 2.

Modern Warfare 2 and Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling (aka FourZeroTwo) both made cameo appearances on Family Guy Sunday night. Peter Griffin won't be joining any gaming leagues anytime soon.

"Activision and Infinity Ward don't want you to forget about the upcoming Stimulus Package DLC for Modern Warfare 2 so they just put out a friendly reminder with a trailer highlighting the five new maps coming to the Xbox 360 on March 30. PC and PS3 owners will have to wait until later in the year to purchase the new multi-player maps."

Someone decides to get on xbox live and play Modern Warfare 2 with a bunch of Obama sound clips and the gamer tag Barack Obama at his disposal and Hilarity ensues.

Dedicated servers...check, PC community happy...check, didn't give console gamers the ability to cheat in multiplayer...check.

If you have all of the above then you are the only sane people in the business. Bad Company 2 releases March 5th in Europe and earlier for other countries, so what else can you do after you've already kicked your competitor down in the dirt? Correct! Rub salt into their injuries by adding easter eggs into the game that is set to take them down a notch!

The stereotypical girl loves twilight. The stereotypical guy loves Modern Warfare 2. Seeing as both have made millions already with each's target audience, the questions remains: How can one milk more money out of the two franchises?
The answer? This hilariously brilliant combination of the two.

". This is neither the "best of" or a "top 10" list, but rather a look at some of the coolest game trailers released during the year that got our blood pumping and our thumbs sweaty. And just so some of the really cool trailers don't feel left out, they made it into the nominees' listing. So everyone wins, sort of"

You have probably completed the single player campaign and played every single multiplayer level by now. But there is one level that you probably haven't played it. The Spielberg level features ultra-realistic gameplay and the beaches of Normandy. Yes, it isn't very modern, but you got to give credit for Infinity Ward adding such a cool level. Check out the video of the level after the jump!

Video game violence has been thrust back into the spotlight by the recent release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - and it's not just gamers and the usual critics arguing over the game.

BBC One's The Big Questions, a weekly philosophical and religious debate programme which enjoys a popular Sunday morning slot, opened its 15th of November episode with the topic of game violence, using Modern Warfare 2 as an example. The discussion revolved around the infamous airport scene from the game,...

"It’s been less than a week since Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 released and while it was welcomed by many warm hands a few disliked the game’s short campaign, over done multiplayer and not much improved graphics. While some outlets didn’t review the game at such a low score as ours, we’d never beat our selves over a game experience. There are some that are willing to run into a wall and hurt them selves to prove how a bad the game is. Hit the jump and laugh your ass off.

Fox News is at it again. This time they held a "fair and balanced" debate on whether or not the terrorism level in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was going too far and whether the game itself is too violent.

For more Fox silliness, take a look at their Mass Effect report, their America's Army: Special Forces report, and their report that blames a baby's death on video games.

Modern Warfare 2 launches next Tuesday, November 10, and with that Infinity Ward have prepared a trailer to promote the event.

Following up on the last truly epic installment, this one pulls it off again but goes in a somewhat different direction, all to the tune of Eminem's fantastic "Till I Collapse."

Games have been delayed, popular shows have been cancelled, the economy is falling, and it's all Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's fault.

The first game had its 'memorable' moments. One was the quite amazing intro for the game. Modern Warfare 2 hopes to go beyond that, but in a different direction. You get to play the role of Russian terrorist as you make your way through an airport gunning down innocent civilians. Is this going to far? Or is it cool to play as the evil guys for a little bit?

Infinity Ward gets all heavy and deep with the latest Modern Warfare 2 trailer. There's a reference to Abel's murder, and some are speculating this might mean Civil War within American borders. Pretty awesome trailer, anyway.

"The world has been your battlefield everywhere you go. The blood of brothers and sons screams out against you. Perhaps you can not yet hear it, because the soil is not your own; but you will. You will..."

"The clip takes place during the South American mission that we saw a brief glimpse of from the Gamecrazy expo and this footage is a lot crazier than that. Cars are blowing up, dudes are getting shot, fellow soldiers are dying and dogs are attacking you. All in all it sounds like a typical day in the world of Modern Warfare. What is shown in the footage is pretty exciting and is everything you would expect out of a Call of Duty game."

One of the fan favorite parts of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was the bonus Mile High Club level. Capping the game off with a bonus level that was really fast and compelled gamers to get the best clear time proved to be quite a hit. Now Infinity War is giving us an entire mode like that in Modern Warfare 2 and today we have some new footage for it.

Modern Warfare is one of the most popular games to be released in the past 10 years as far as multiplayer is concerned and Modern Warfare 2 looks to top that. Not only will the same mechanics from MW1 be refined but new ones such as the ability to carry shields and dual wield weapons will also be added. Check out a glimpse of Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer mode in this exciting new trailer.

"The Rio de Janeiro stage was the one that was shown briefly to those lucky Gamecrazy attendees as it was played live by an Infinity Ward rep. Not a lot of action was shown in the leaked video but the general vibe that the city gave off both from a visual and game design sense was quite good. Seeing civilians run around a warzone helps set the tones of things and it’s something that hasn’t really been in prior editions of Call of Duty, let alone Modern Warfare."

Conventions, trade shows -- assets. Activision is stealing the show today with a bunch of Modern Warfare images and trailer, mostly for the Nintendo versions.

Two new screenshots come from Modern Warfare 2, though they were too big to upload here (check source). So you'll just have to check out some of those DS and Wii screens (more at source). The DS version has been titled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized, and the Wii edition is Treyarch's port of Modern Warfare.

Any of you watch the NBA Eastern Conference Finals? Great, but this is GameGrep, and we're not here to talk about sports. Admit it, most of you were watching JUST to see the Modern Warfare 2 trailer!

Well, Activision did release the extended uncut version on Sunday, so here it is. It's more graphic than the one aired on TV... just in case the word "uncut" hasn't already tipped you off.

Otherwise, please enjoy~

"Eschewing it’s opening tagline whilst trying not to disorientate the fans, Modern Warfare 2 will l aunch on all major console formats this winter. Rumours currently suggest more details will be forthcoming on May 24th, 2009 – this coming Sunday – but failing this, you can almost guarantee Modern Warfare 2 will feature heavily in Activision’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) line-up in Los Angeles at the beginning of next month."

The first ever 'proper' (the teaser doesn't count) footage of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been released, apparently in the middle of a sports game (the source is pretty vague). It shows the typical soldiers killing and dying, all in a snowy tundra. Underwater diving is also shown, though that may not be gameplay, as well as a snow mobile sequence. Check out this smoking hot video at the source.
