"The soundtrack sums it up perfectly; the immortal bassline from Lalo Schifrin's Bullitt theme thumps along, evoking the urban cool of one of cinema's most stylish car chases before it's ripped apart by a violent break-beat. On-screen herds of vehicles race through a city that's eating itself, whole office blocks tumbling and gun-toting groups on foot creating a scene of perfect chaos. It's an old standard given a fresh twist, and that's the perfect way to describe developer Evolution's latest..."

We have all wanted them, ever since we played LittleBigPlanet we wanted out own plush Sackboy. ToyCyte tried with action figures, but they got it all wrong. Now Sony has made a deal with Impact to create plush toys, along with many other accessories of LittleBigPlanet.

Alongside that, they will also create accessories for other popular PS3 titles such as Resistance, GOW and Motorstorm.

"Motorstorm: Pacific Rift has got to be one of my favourite games to date, period. As a person who isn’t keen on the whole sim-racing scene, this dainty dish-up of off-road action actually got me back into racing games, and since then I have been diving into other titles including Burnout and Pure. Those who play Pacific Rift will know that it was released with trophies, offering harcore fans such as myself a real challenge amongst other games. However, Evolution Studios had hinted a trophy-re..."

"SCEE has confirmed to D+PAD this afternoon that MotorStorm Pacific Rift will be going on sale in the UK on November 7th.

"Speaking to VideoGamer.com this morning a Sony Computer Entertainment Europe spokesperson has confirmed that the listing is a mistake and that it will be removed shortly. So there you go. Maybe the fan excitement over the listing will give Sony a reason to consider bringing the MotorStorm series to PSP in the future, but it's not happening just yet."

"This time around, the MotorStorm races will take place on a tropical island set amongst the lush jungle, emerald lagoons and towering peaks in the Pacific Ocean. Why is this important? The original MotorStorm introduced us to some fantastic racing through the desert landscape of Monument Valley. Although we delivered some wild tracks and terrain, the desert is the desert. With the topical island setting, players will be able to experience a much broader range of environments and terrain.

"And thus, the latest rumor: according to Dutch gaming site PS3Life.nl, UK retailer GAME suddenly has a PSP listing for "MotorStorm" in their database. We keep hearing from Sony that we can expect several large surprises for the PSP next year, so perhaps this is one of them."

Phil "Game 3.0" Harrison has moved on, but the PS3 developers are still there and it looks like they haven't forgot his teachings. Christopher Grant, a blogger for Joystiq, took a handful of upcoming PlayStation titles out for a little test drive at Sony's Pre-E3 Judge's Event in LA and the one thing he noticed that he wrote down frequently was: community website. Motorstorm: Pacific Rim, Killzone 2, and plenty of other games will have community websites when they are released. It looks like ...

"There's a bigger, badder and more badass sequel coming out this year. You guessed it: MotorStorm Pacific Rift. There's more to be excited about in the sequel other than interactive vegetation. If you didn't hear, Pacific Rift is going to have twice the tracks of the original, and four-player split-screen racing (something sorely missing from the original).

Pacific Rift is also going to add a number of commonly requested features, such as a Photo Mode, which allows you to take screenshots f..."

When asked if MotorStorm Pacific Rift is pushing the PS3 Kershaw said: "The first game pushed the PS3, this is pushing the PS3, our next game is going to push the PS3. It's not so much about pushing the hardware, it's about learning how to use the hardware in the best possible fashion."

He added: "We've realised..."
