"Major Nelson has posted the LIVE Activity list for the week of July 6th, and it is very surprising. As you can see from the title, Battlefield 1943 has accomplished something only once done before with Castle Crashers.

Despite initially having server issues, EA overcame that hurdle right away and it seems to have pleased gamers. Battlefield 1943 has cracked the top numbers for disc based games, taking out Rock Band 2 from the list completely. I am not sure how long this will last, but with..."

"There are a couple hundred registered users here, so I figured that I'd give you guys a chance to respond via the comments section and name your top 5 games from last year. Sure, I'm a little late to that party, but by now you've all had time to sit back and contemplate your picks. You don't have to give reasons behind your top 5 (although you can), just list them like this!"

"Nearly 5 years later, N is STILL my favorite platformer EVER. The PC version has remained totally free, and updates have given it almost unlimited replay value, with literally THOUSANDS of downloadable levels made by the N community."

"ThatÂ’s it: no guns, no dodge, no shields no nothing. Just you, your ninja, over 200 amazingly designed levels and some fiendish puzzles all wrapped up in one stylish and fun little platformer."

Apparently their title - Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One - had the third most successful launch. Not bad, guys! Also great to see Rez can still hold its own.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. The same saying goes for the PSP. It's already made big waves this year with God of War: Chains of Olympus and Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, but don't think for a second that it's done pulling the punches yet!

PSP Blogger takes a look at some of the titles still planned for the PSP in 2008. Among these are a few new games, but there's also a few older ones coming out via the Playstation Store.
