The NPD Group has released their hardware and software numbers for the month of July, representing sales for the United States for the four week period of July 6th to August 2nd

This month, there were three notables:

• 360's price drop has no effect
• Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bump is gone; game has fell out of top ten
• Five new releases in the top five, in the form of three separate games

If you're going to buy NCAA Football 2009, you should buy it at Sam's Club. Sam's Club will allow the consumer to choose from different images for the cover art of NCAA 09. You can put different team mascots on the front as well, but not every team is available. This offer will be available in every Sam's Club that has a Photo Center. Check out one of the different cover art designs on the right. NCAA Football 09 will be out on July 15th.

Electronic Arts have announced that Matt Ryan has finally been selected to be the Athlete Cover for the Playstation 3 version of the up and coming annual title NCAA Football 09.
