"Electronic Arts have today released the first batch of screenshots for the forthcoming iPhone and iPod Touch version of Need for Speed SHIFT. Currently set for a simultaneous release with the home console versions on 18th September 2009, Need for Speed SHIFT seems to be a considerably different proposition to the aforementioned Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 releases."

After the flop that was the last Need For Speed game, EA decided to change things up. Bringing a new style and most notably changing the gameplay into a sim racer opposed to an arcade racer. Hopefully things will pay off as the game is looking beautiful.
