"Gamer Gaia: Steam Summe Camp PictureSteam Summer Camp is winding down to an end, but the deals are still as good as ever. Today has a great list of daily deals, with some new and great titles such as Portal 2, Dead Space 2, and Duke Nukem Forever all coming in with big discounts."

All Age Gaming's John Elliott brings us his 13th Developer profile. In this profile he looks at the Fallout: New Vegas developer, Obsidian Entertainment.

"As we make our way through 2010, what better thing is there to do than to take a look back at the last ten years, browse over the RPGs released during that time and talk about them? Of those RPGs, which were the most notable? Which were the ones that set the scene for the decade and which of those should be forgotten?

No really, does anyone have any better ideas because we're all out of them.

For our purposes, we'll officially declare 1st January 2000 as the opening of this decade. Tech..."

"Hi Everyone,

As per my earlier post (see below), Ossian and Atari have done the final QA pass on MoW to make sure everything is working with 1.22. We finished yesterday and the critical path and sidequests all check out fine. I’ve gotten the official Atari stamp of approval today, meaning that MoW is now gold!

With MoW in the pipe, the next step is to get this final version to the digital distributors, for as you may or may not know, Atari uses services like Digital River to digitally d..."

""You will hear more from these but not today, because we're focused on 2009," Infogrames president Phil Harrison told hacks assembled at a press event this afternoon.

Atari last month published the Storm of the Zehir NWN expansion in Europe, but it's been a while since the other three showed their heads."

Atari and Obsidian have announced the Storm of Zehir, the next expansion for Neverwinter Nights 2. NWN2 is a real-time RPG game based in the world of Dungeons and Dragons. This expansion takes players back to a land called the Sword Coast, the area in which a previous RPG (for those of you that do not know) called Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast took place.

"GB: Are there any plans to introduce any new prestige classes or sub-races? How about epic levels?

Kevin: Absolutely! We are adding new prestige classes (and a base class) and new sub-races. We’ll be sharing more information on those soon, but we think you’ll be excited about our choices. ;) One of the prestige classes is completely new and was designed through consultation with our colleagues at Wizards of the Coast. As far as the leveling goes, NX1 will feature epic levels through level 30."

"Well, it appears there was an issue with the build process on the 1.05 patch. Our systems here didn't have a problem running the patch but, within minutes of the patch being available, people started reporting problems with the toolset not starting.

Shortly after this, a well-meaning community member published a work-around. Unfortunately the work-around may cause issues when it comes time to patch again later.

So, rather than cause a bigger issue, we have pulled the patch from the serv..."
