Mario and Link have been in dozens of Nintendo games. Combined they have sold close to 3 million games. Both have had their ups and downs, but the question remains who is the king of Nintendo?

Daav from NoobFeed.com gives his vegetarian colleague Mario an ego boost, by shedding the positive side to the non-animal slaughtering lifestyle. Not everyone who eats mushrooms is a tripping junkie and it's high time(s) to see the advantages of plant life adoration.

"It cannot be a coincidence that it was not long after the release of the Super Nintendo that Nintendo stopped making new side-scrolling Mario titles, even though, like the NES, they still had plenty of life left in them. I get the feeling that now that Nintendo had made enough money off of Mario and the NES, they wanted to do something new that they wanted to do rather than continuing to support the audience they already had."

"Nintendo [has created] a separate "core" myth - that "core" games are made in 3D. You can tell this from their direction with the Mario series: there wasn't a real Super Mario Bros. game for almost 15 years! Instead, we got Super Mario 64 and Sunshine, which while I loved both definitely weren't Super Mario Bros. Nintendo seems to have spent the last decade or so thinking that 3D Mario is the new core Mario, and that they don't need Super Mario Bros. anymore."

There are many of us who don’t really enjoy the Nintendo Wii. We might feel resentment that it somehow has become the number one seller in the home console war. Check out the full story to hear why the Wii is just getting started by the boss of Nintendo of America. Cheers!

"Nintendo's big Game Developers Conference press event is all wrapped up and, while gamers living everywhere but Japan get ready for their chance to try out the new 3DS hardware, speakers had quite a few surprises in store for all their fans.

From a new Mario game to Netflix on your 3DS, hit the jump to find out all about Nintendo's biggest announcements."

"Forget its glasses-free 3D, the Nintendo 3DS is unlike any Nintendo video game before it because it will debut without Mario or Luigi. The previous nine major gaming machines from Nintendo — all of the big ones, from NES to Wii — had these guys.

The Mario-shaped hole emerged today when Nintendo released its 3DS gaming launch line-up for the U.S. Scheduled for launch day on March 27, there was Pilotwings: Resort, a flying game that doesn’t star Mario. There was Steel Diver, a game about sub..."

Nintendo's Wii has pulled into market leader position in Portugal, one of Sony's last PS3 strongholds in Europe. Kinect also boosted Xbox sales considerably but the system is still in a distant third.

"We all have our favorite video game character, right? But what character is the top character of all time? Guinness World Records 2011 Gamer's Edition (out now, $12.99 for ebook, $14.99 for print) chimes in with its Top 10, voted on by more than 13,000 fans on the Guinness website. And Mario takes the top spot.

Nintendo had 11 characters in the Top 50, followed by Sony and Capcom with six and five, respectively. Five characters came from the year 1966, followed by 1987, 2001 and 2007 with ..."

"Sometimes, you find yourself in a loving relationship with a partner who may not exactly share your passion for gaming. We’ve all been there. Instead of breaking up, why not try introducing them to a game or two that would be uniquely suited to their tastes and their skill levels so that you can play together?"

The 2D platformer has been around for a long time, and it's definitely going to stick around. Bright Hub takes a look back at the genre's rise to prominence, it's lull as a result of 3D platformers hitting the market, and it's return with modern hits such as Super Meat Boy and Donkey Kong Country Returns.

New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii, both hark back to the famous plumber's 2D days. Which retro throwback is the superior Mario sidescroller?

"Many gamers like to have a little drinky-drink when they play. Sometimes, though, you want to take your drinking game to the next level. Speaking of "drinking games," there just aren't enough of them specifically tailored to the world of video games."

"The trend of including cooperative campaigns has grown in popularity over the years. While many of our favorite franchises are still coming to grips with the cooperative modes, we see great innovation and experience a great sense of achievement in the ones that make it a priority."

"Often in the Super Mario series Princess Peach will invite Mario to the castle for cake, and is then promptly stolen by Bowser. So many narrative plot-points are never addressed within Mario. Is cake a metaphor for something else? Why does Bowser love pinching Peach so much? Why on earth does Mario actually bother saving her all the time? It's never yet been addressed, and probably never will be. You'd have to think our favourite portly plumber would eventually give up his quest to gain the m..."

"Ah, the power of friendship. Getting your best bud together for a friendly co-op campaign or raid can bring forth not only a new gaming experience, but memories that will last forever (cue gag reflex). However, as these gamers prove, sometimes all it takes is a difficult level or partner to turn two friends into mortal enemies."

"Much like the Disney name is synonymous with cartoons, Nintendo is one of a few names that are synonymous with gaming culture. Disney revolutionized the classic cartoon decades ago and provided some of the most memorable cartoon characters to date. These characters are now seen on everything from apparel to various nickknackery and of course, movies. When the video game crash of 1983 reared its ugly head, Nintendo picked up the scraps and put gaming back on the map with the NES and a title by..."

"As the father of the Mario series, you'd think Shigeru Miyamoto wouldn't have a favorite child. But he does.

At an event in New York City this week, the Nintendo legend proclaimed Super Mario World as his favorite in the series. And that got us to thinking...which game is actually the best?

You could make an argument for just about any one of them. In fact, we're about to do just that."

They have everything: lots of areas to explore (both above and under water), hard-to-find coins and stars, and some interesting objects to climb and maneuver around. The music is also worth noting – it’s so deep and memorable that you’d swear it came from Final Fantasy."

"Both Sony and Microsoft could learn a little something from Nintendo and how they handle their major franchises and mascots. Microsoft has milked the Halo franchise to the point that the original developer can’t stand the idea of making another one. Sony on the other hand has pushed the God of War franchise a bit too much (six releases, with a seventh coming in Ghost of Sparta in under five years), but hasn’t sacrificed quality for quantity as fans of the series and critics alike both rave ab..."

During their latest fiscal report, Nintendo revealed, via the NPD, the top 30 best-selling games so far this year as of the end of March. As expected, games from Nintendo systems dominated the list.

With games like Heavy Rain and the upcoming Alan Wake featuring great story's, All Age Gaming's Michael Brennan discusses whether we are entering a time in gaming where a game has to feature a great story for it to truly grab the gamer.

"1. I come from a long line of plumbers, all the way back to my great grandmother Mariette.

2. People seem to really love my adventures; I’ve been featured in over 200 of them, and they’ve sold over 210 million copies.

3. Everyone thinks Luigi is jealous of all my fame and glory, but they don’t know the real reason why Luigi doesn’t have so many adventures: laziness.

4. Speaking of Luigi, you might be wondering why we he and I always wear the same clothes. Our mother hated doing the l..."

"Video game fans have a lot of hobbies outside of gaming itself. But more often than not it all ends up going full circle and coming back to the wonderful world of gaming. Sometimes family and friends support our gaming habits by making stuff for game fans. Cakes are one of those hobbies and things."

The Japanese are known for their weird and wacky TV shows and video-games. The same spplies to their game commercials too. They're often funny, sexy, crazy or just downright random. Let's take a look at some commercials that fit into the "cute" category, featuring members Nino and Ohno from the popular Japanese boy band Arashi playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Having launched in both the North American and European territories on Tuesday, 9th March 2010, on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 simultaneously, Final Fantasy XIII has lived up to it’s expectations commercially."

"Super Mario Wii made it’s dominating entrance into the Nintendo market last year with an incredible battle mode. A race to collect coins and kill each other would make this hyperactive battle the best for the Wii thus far. The feeling of getting thrown off a ledge by player 2 is excruciating because you have to bubble your way back to him to get out, and of course he being the ass he is, will run away from you the whole damn time leaving you with no coins and himself with all the coins, inclu..."

Daniel Vuckovic has posted up some interesting news concerning a man from Australia. This man uploaded an illegal copy of the game New Super Mario Bros. Wii a week prior to release in Australia. Check out the source to find out how much Nintendo has sued him for, including the whole press release.

"After having reportedly shipped two million units to retail worldwide, Mass Effect 2 has taken the top spot in the UK, knocking Ubisoft’s Just Dance down to second place, according to GfK Chart-Track data. The chart applies for the week ending January 30th, which means BioWare’s latest managed to become the biggest selling game of last week with just it’s first days of sales."

All Age Gaming's Phong Nguyen bring's us the 27th AAG "The Week That Was". This week he discusses the continual sales boom for Nintendo's New Super Mario Bros. Wii game, Halo: Reach at Microsoft's X10 event, the once Xbox 360 exclusive GTA IV DLC coming to PS3 and PC and more.

"My gut tells me that playing Mario, the adventures of a fat plumber in a Mushroom Kingdom of warbling enemies and happy conflict, is juvenile.

My mind tells me I'm a more ideal Mario player than any 8-year-old kid.

Grown men play Super Mario games, so I feel that it is time for me, a grown man, to figure out why and whether this is a habit I ought to quit."

"The recent end to 2009 and all the holidays that lead up to the New Year involved a lot of traveling to a lot of different relative's houses. Since I'm the "gamer" of the family, it's usually up to me to bring some form to digital entertainment or know the latest stuff out there. The following list are some of the games requested to me and ones that are always crowd pleasers."

One man's list of the top 25 games of the 2000s concludes with a multitude of iconic sports games and a surprising title at number one. Standing on top of the list is a title that most want to play, but may never get the chance. Check out the full list and the entire compilation inside!

"The Nikkei, a Japanese newspaper, is reporting that New Super Mario Bros. Wii has sold over ten million copies since it was released a little over two months ago. According to the article, the game has sold three million copies in Japan, another three million in Europe and 4.5 million in North America."

Recently put online by YouTube user "DrCoolSex," this hilarious spin on MTV's "Jersey Shore" features a far more entertaining cast: The Mario Bros. DrCoolSex should get in contact with MTV, because frankly this version of the show doesn't make me want to feed my eyes to piranhas.

"When a phrase catches on, it really catches on. You can't turn a corner in the internet gaming community without seeing an article complaining about Nintendo's laziness. IGN is already plagued with two of them.

But the sheer mind-crushing irony of these articles almost makes them too funny to complain. The pot really is calling the kettle black. Has anyone ever taken their crosshairs off of Nintendo to aim at the same old song and dance that other developers are cashing in on? Apparently n..."

"When it comes down to it, NSMB-Wii is a fun, challenging game best played solo, although it does offer fun for multiplayer. When it comes down to it, I don't think it's nearly as good as SMB3 or SMBW, but it's still a game every Wii owner should have.

While the main game did feel a bit short, you do have incentives to replay. For example, you will unlock a ninth world once you beat the game the first time, and in order to unlock each level of that world, you must collect ALL the big coins ..."

"Among other things, that means that the game's two new characters, "Blue Toad" and "Yellow Toad," are quickly becoming two of the series' most well-known characters. But these two still don't have any officially sanctioned names.

Telling us who these new Toads are would take up valuable seconds, and might cause some of us to think. That could potentially detract from the player's ability to slip into the experience of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, or at least, maybe that's what Nintendo's thi..."

"There were many great games that released in 2009 and there were also some pretty bad games. Much like a book, you can't judge a game by the cover. Some games have beautiful box arts, but the game itself is terrible, while others have great boxes and are great games. It's time to look at the best box arts that the video game industry had to offer in 2009. Some may surprise you, but others will likely not. Some of these games were great, while others were forgetful."

"The game, however 3-D as it appears, still takes Mario, Luigi (and up to two other players at the same time) along a left to right, horizontally side scrolling, format of clearly discernable koopas, mushrooms, turtles and much more."

"As we start a new decade, Nintendo has announced that there are now over 40 million Nintendo DS and 20 million Wii consoles being played across Europe. In fact, the Nintendo DS family, including Nintendo DS Lite and the latest addition, Nintendo DSi, has not only sold more than any other videogame console in Europe but it has also seen the fastest growth in European video game console history, reaching this sales figure in less than 5 years."

"As 2009 came to a close, we posted a weeklong look at our favorite games of 2009. However, those 40 titles (including the eight we ultimately chose to honor as "The Best of the Best") were far from the only good games released last year. And did our picks match up with the rest of the game industry? But most importantly, what we really wanted to know was which game was truly the best game of 2009."

""...it only makes sense to pay a little respect to a few of the games that may not have fit within some of the ubiquitous standard-fare categories. That doesn't mean you won't see some familiar names on this list but you might see a few unexpected games as well. So here's an unofficial list of some of the most original games of 2009.""

"Like Jack Bauer, Chuck Norris and Neil Patrick Harris rise above the station of mortal men and become legendary, so do some video games. While 2009 was a tough year for the industry, both financially and creatively, that didn't stop a handful of titles from being enshrined into the video game canon."

"Amazon has set up a page listing their yearly bestsellers in the video game category and, not surprisingly, the list is domninated by Nintendo's Wii. The Wii system itself took the overall top spot. It was flanked by the Wii Remote at #2, Wii MotionPlus at #3 and the Nunchuk at #4. Nintendo can also lay claim to the top-selling game on the list with New Super Mario Bros. Wii at #5. In fact, the only non-Wii product to crack the top ten is the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2..."

Through January 2nd Best Buy and BestBuy.com discounted several top-selling games to $39.99 including New Super Mario Bros, Assassin's Creed II, Batman: Arkham Assylum, Left 4 Dead 2 and others.

Although the Nintendo Wii may be lacking in high-profile exclusive game releases in the year of 2009, the system did have quite a few overlooked Wii-only titles.

""2009 saw Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's record breaking launch, the return of Nathan Drake in Uncharted 2, new, groundbreaking experiences and traditional classics for the whole family. 2009 was a huge year for any type of gamer, no matter how you slice it.

So it is without further ado that GameZone presents our 2009 Game of the Year Awards. We took a look at the best and the brightest that this year had to offer, wracked our brains together in a rigorous voting process, and now we pres..."

Don't worry: Spawn Kill has you covered with their guide for games and accessories for the casual gamers on your lists.

"With less than a week to go to Christmas, the race is on for the coveted Christmas Number One in the All Formats Videogame Chart. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the current favourite, having reigned in pole position for the past five weeks. Close on its heels are Assassin's Creed II, Wii Sports Resort and FIFA 10, which have all jockeyed for second place over the past month."

"They are spread throughout the levels and give the game more replay value for those players willing to hunt them down to unlock some extras. Collecting all of them in each of the 8 worlds unlocks another new level in world 9!"

"Be honest, when’s the last time you gave your stick a waggle? If you’re a hardcore gamer, it’s probably been a while, but the rest of us power up the Wii every other day and give that barely-functional stick a shake or two. Why? Because it’s damn fun, that’s why. Here are the games that have had us swinging it the most this year."

"Ah, marriage. Once a gamer friend, Mr. or Mrs. Couple has now been tied in the bounds of matrimony and you are wondering if you should still get them the same types of games as in years past. Or, maybe, you are married to a non-gamer and are looking for a way to bring them into gaming this holiday season. The Japanese New Super Mario Bros. Wii commercials are your standard fare: People (in this case, celebrities) sitting around, playing the game and having fun.
But these ones are a little cuter than the average commercial. The expression on the guy's face at 1:25 is priceless...

New Super Mario Bros. Wii is best described as "new-stalgic", with amazing amounts of detail, shout-outs to classic Mario games, and a great deal of fanservice all tied together into a nice, shiny new package. The multiplayer Mario adventure you've always wanted has arrived.

The Kartel highlights how most gamers never actually finish a game, and why certain features that make play through easier can actually increase the enjoyment for a game. New Super Mario Bros Wii, Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead, and even Bayonetta are raised as examples.

Icrontic's tireless CB Droege takes on this week's new releases, and features Gyromancer, Assassin's Creed 2, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, and Left 4 Dead 2.

"In 1967, Paul Simon wrote "Mrs. Robinson", his now famous ode to forgotten heroes and times gone by. Mario wouldn't make his video game debut until fourteen years later, but the parallels between Nintendo's heroic mascot and Paul Simon's most famous composition are hard to ignore."

Popular new games this week are: Assassin’s Creed II (Xbox 360, PS3), New Super Mario Bros. Last week Nintendo of America's Reggie Fils-Aime said that he believes New Super Mario Bros. Wii will outsell Modern Warfare 2 on a single platform.

Now that Modern Warfare 2 has been released, Reggie stated that he is not surprised at how many units have already sold, although he expects MW2 to have trouble maintaining high sales numbers while NSMB Wii will sell consisently for the next few years...

This weekend, fans can experience a life-size Warp Pipe, a Mario Museum, and all kinds of other fun at the launch event for New Super Mario Bros Wii at the Nintendo World Store in New York City

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is finally here, in a variety of different versions including the standard edition, the Hardened Edition and the Prestige Edition (which includes night vision goggles and a downloadable copy of the original Call of Duty). But Mario is not afraid of a little console combat as New Super Mario Bros. Wii is also being released this week.

Analyst Michael Patcher believes New Super Mario Bros. Wii's sales will "shock" and Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto is confident that the game will sell for years. But was does Nintendo of America's President Reggie Fils-Aime think?
In a recent interview with Gametrailers, Reggie said that, despite being a big fan of the Call of Duty series, he believes New Super Mario Bros. Wii will "unequivocally" sell more than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on one particular platform.

""It was all thanks to the graphical capacity of Wii console. If two players or more are simultaneously controlling Mario and Luigi in the same screen on a platformer game, the slower player will be left behind by the faster player, beyond the game screen. This time the screen zooms in and out accordingly, thanks to the capacity of the Wii console. The camera can zoom out as far as three times wider where you can see a very small Mario running around, and zoom in to show huge Mario and Luigi. ..."

"Now we've had chance to play the final version of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, it's time to tell you the hard truth about Nintendo's latest plumbing escapades. Well, the hard truth is, it's a lot of fun and impossible to play without a smile on your face.

Although a lot of emphasis has been put on the series-first multiplayer, solo play is still possible and feels exactly like series high-points Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3. You move between levels on a top-down map - though you..."

"“So yeah the bored housewife bought WiiFit to get in shape and do yoga [but] this is the first game that I’ve seen on any Nintendo system that’s complete throwback that I can play with my kids. As a NintenDad, I’m psyched to play this game.”

Pachter notes that the attach rate doesn’t need to be big at all considering there are 60 million Wiis out there and, while not dishing out an exact number, predicts, “It’s gonna shock you how many units that thing sells.”"

"Nintendo is set to launch a nationwide tour and becomes newest resident of a city near you. Offering consumers the chance to play forthcoming releases Wii Fit Plus and New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the “Nintendo House” will sport a number of Wii and Nintendo DS consoles for your enjoyment."

"Europeans missed out on the Metroid Prime Trilogy tin box that NOA released in the U.S. While it isn’t as cool, Nintendo of Europe seem to be trying to make up for it with a New Super Mario Bros. Wii Limited Tin Edition. Game.co.uk is taking pre-orders for it now.

No word on this being released in North America yet. It wasn’t announced during the recent roundtable with Miyamoto either. Nintendo seem to be pushing NSMB particularly hard in general though. Even the regular box art stands ou..."

New Super Mario Bros. Wii has four playable characters: Mario, Luigi, Toad and... another Toad.

If you're wondering why Peach isn't the fourth playable character, Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto recently revealed that the reason she playable is because it was difficult to animate her dress. According to Miyamoto: "we would have to have special processing and programming to handle how the skirt is handled within the gameplay."

Here are some awesome gameplay videos of the upcoming New Super Mario Bros. game for the Nintendo Wii. Love the new suits and skills that it comes with. This will most likely give SMB3 a run for its money for being the best Mario game ever IMO!

"The biggest surprise from the event, said the manager, was that Shigeru Miyamoto himself held a live New Super Mario Bros. Wii play session in front of attendees. During the play session, Miyamoto said of the game, "It's a Mario that will continue selling even after one year has passed.""

So instead of the NoE stub we got, Kotaku's Stephen Totilo was able to watch a Nintendo representative demo the feature in Nintendo's upcoming November release New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

What was known as Demo Play or the Kind Code is now officially known as Super Guide. The details:

  • Only available in single-player
  • Cannot activate unless you've died eight times in a level
    • The intent is "to offer Super Guide as a helper for its less skilled customers and to allow its designers to make so...

"Nintendo’s UK site released details on the “demo play” feature announced that will first be showed up in New Super Mario Bros for the Wii. This feature allows the player to watch a video of how to get through the stage and allow them to “jump in” at any point of watching this. This was what most gamers thought how it was going to be used and they have confirmed it."

In a press release today, Nintendo has announced that beginning on Sunday, September 27, the Wii will drop in price from $249.99 to $199.99. The contents of the single SKU will remain the same, with the Wii console, 1 Wii Remote, 1 Nunchuk, and Wii Sports.

Limit Break have posted up a family line chronicling Mario's nearly 30 years of appearances, starting as Jumpman in Donkey Kong Arcade back in 1981. The "tree" depicts how the Mario franchise has branched out over the years and where some of the concepts for the popular spin-offs stem from. For example, the Mario Kart series can be traced back to the Famicom Grand Prix F-1 Race game which was released in 1987, ages before Super Mario Kart was introduced. I seriously had no idea about some of ...

Nintendo confirmed their demo play feature nearly a month ago and stated that New Super Mario Bros. Wii will be the first title to use the feature. According to reports, the Wii won't be the only one to make use of this. Future games on the DS will also use Demo Play, though at this point no specific titles have been announced that will implement this.

It is the opinion of Neoseeker writer Lydia Sung that Nintendo has in recent years fallen a bit off the wagon, so to speak. Okay, a lot.

Citing her experiences at E3 this year, some of the company's contradictory statements and actions, and support of the mature audience (or lack thereof), she divulges on how Nintendo has missed the mark in a lot of ways, and touches on how they can fix it.

Have a read if you feel so inclined!

"This year’s E3 was a feast for the eyes, showing off some very impressive games for all three major home consoles. While the Microsoft and Sony E3 press conferences were stuffed full of gaming goodness, the Nintendo press conference seems to be left in the dust. If you actually look at what Nintendo has coming out for the “hardcore” you will realize they are doing a better job of tailoring towards that crowd that they have in the past. Don’t believe me? then feast your eyes on this amazing li..."

He's headstrong, ambitious and always willing to lend a helping hand - that's why he's the first to respond to the Mario Bros.' call for help in their latest adventure. Lunar of The Gaming Dungeon writes about Nintendo's new "Demo Play" feature and how, despite what all the "hardcore" are saying; it probably won't destroy all gaming as we know it.

It's no surprise that games have become a lot easier than they were over a decade ago. But Nintendo is looking to make things even easier. Remember those images that surfaced last year about the patent Nintendo filed which would allow gamers to receive in-game tips? Well, Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed that the "demo play" feature will make an appearance in the New Super Mario Bros. Wii title. At any time during the game, you can pause it and let the game take over until you want to resume pl...

""We have near-term, mid-term and long-term opportunities," he claims. "The near-term opportunity is the consumer who owns a PlayStation 3 or an Xbox 360 and has been bad-mouthing Wii to their friends. We can reach that consumer with games like The Conduit or Tiger Woods with Wii Motion Plus."

Reggie's mid-term goal is to get the more mainstream consumer who "just needs a little extra incentive" to get a Wii, something he believes he can do with Motion Plus and New Super Mario Bros. The lon..."

"Nintendo’s Press conference was most certainly better than last year, but that doesn’t mean it still competed with the other two companies in terms of hardcore games and new innovative technology. Still though, I gotta hand it to Nintendo for making me a believer again with the introduction of a new Metroid, a new Mario Galaxy, and of course, the New Super Mario Bros. Wii title, among others. Although I hate the name, it still could prove to be a blast when it hits its release date sometime b..."

At their E3 Media Briefing earlier today, Nintendo announced New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The game will feature four-player co-op, along with new items. Here are the first of the screenshots, the last two are at the source.

Below is the trailer for the newly-announced New Super Mario Bros. Wii from Nintendo, releasing on the Nintendo Wii. The game is expected to hit store shelves this holiday season.

"Nintendo began their Pre-E3 Press Conference at around 5:30pm GMT this evening, with a mission to not only prove that their strategy hasn’t ended with Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training, Wii Sports and Wii Fit, and that they could back-up those promises made to deliver games for the Hardcore Gamer as well as their financially beneficial new market, but also remain ahead of the competition, with Microsoft’s Project NATAL revealed yesterday with the clear goal of stealing a piece of the Wii pie, an..."
