Electronic Theatre reports on the release of two limited edition wallpapers fro Ninja Captains, created by publisher Nordcurrent to celebrate the successful launch of the Wii and Nintendo DS game.
"With only twenty mini-games included on the disc, Ninja Captains fails to live-up to the standards set by the likes of Mario Party, but manages to out-do most of the recent competition, including SEGA’s Wacky World of Sports, by sheer number alone. The Story Mode can be played through with up to four players, with each of the games played-through in sequence. Once a game has been completed in Story Mode it becomes available in Party Mode, where the player is free to try and beat their own sco..."
"Released today, Ninja Captains is a combination of wacky humour, addictive gameplay and exotic locations which makes this a must-play title for family gaming on a Wii or Nintendo DS. Ninja Captains is available today from all major high street and online retailers."
"Watch as Warrior Ninja grabs the drill and begins to break through the thick ice – Clumsy Ninja and Magic Ninja watching in anticipation whilst trying to keep warm next to the camp fire. Will Fatty Ninja help the team out? Not likely, he has fallen asleep as usual!"
"Slowly, he descends from the ceiling. Stealth like, Fat Ninja infiltrates the enemies base searching for the top secret disc that could finally help the Ninja Captains destroy their most devious enemy yet, the giant mouse who has taken over the world!"
"Cat got your tongue? It would be good if he did with the noises coming from Clumsy Ninja! The Ninja Captains are lost in a dry, hot desert and they stumble cross an old magical lantern. After giving it a little stroke they are granted three wishes with which to solve all of their problems, what will they do?
Will they wish for a nice cold bowl of water? Maybe, a magic carpet to whisk them back home, or even some help to get rid of that devilish giant mouse who's trying to takeover the worl..."
"The art style is very closely related to a Saturday morning cartoon, with pencil sketched cut-scenes telling the tale of the Ninja Captains’ rather clumsy globetrotting adventure and colourful, simplistic scenes depicting the challenges set before them. Each mini-game is introduced by a scene illustrating how the team have arrived at their current destination, and what tasks await them upon arrival. For all the world-saving adventures that players are asked to embark upon in videogames, chasi..."
"Join the Ninja Captains in their pranks and capers this autumn; travel to famous cities like London, Sydney, Paris, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro plus many others. Travel the world and test yourself at bull running, sledding and Gondola racing. Released on the 16th October the combination of wacky humour, addictive gameplay and exotic locations makes Ninja Captains a highly-anticipated release for anyone who owns a Wii or Nintendo DS..."
