We recently featured an article about five unannounced 3DS games that we would like to see Nintendo reveal in 2012. Following up on that idea, here are six games that would fit well on the 3DS in 2012, each coming from a third-party developer that has already pledged support for the handheld. Let the speculation begin on GameRabies!
"It's been four full years since the introduction of the Nintendo DS. This dual-screen, touch-screen handheld was a system first received with skepticism when it launched in the US in November of 2004. Over time, it began to prove itself. The dual-screened handheld that had everyone, gamers and developers alike, scratching their heads has become the most popular and most purchased piece of video game hardware.
But it's not on the strength of the hardware alone. The reason why Nintendo's DS ..."
Clive Thompson of Wired was playing Ninja Gaiden II when he realized that after a period of time, the dead bodies didn't disappear. In all Ninja Gaiden games, the bodies disappear into the thin after you have dealt with them. Why? Well, if you kill all those people, you'll obviously be wading in dead bodies. A thought occurred to Thompson. What happens to all those people you've killed? Gaming heaven perhaps?
"Six new Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (DS) screens have been released, in much the same way we imagine blood spills out of sword cuts in the actual title.
Ninja Gaiden DS occurs straight after the original game on the Xbox, as Ryu rebuilds his peaceful home village. As you can see from the screenshots, it doesn't stay that way for long.
The game uses the 'Phantom Hourglass' method of moving the titular character around the screen, which is fast becoming common practice for any DS game wort..."
The NPD Group recently released their tracked sales numbers for April 2008, for the four week tracking period that ends on May 3rd, 2008. Many thanks to sonycowboy at NeoGAF and the NPD Group for the numbers.
April saw the release of two major games: Grand Theft Auto IV, which shattered industry records, and Mario Kart Wii, the latest installment in Nintendo's Mario Kart franchise. You would think that there would be strong sales all around for the three current generation consoles, but ...
"As for a specific follow for a sequel to Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword there is no plans to a DS 2 or anything that has a continuation from Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword story," [said Dragon Sword producer Yosuke Hayashi]. "However having been able to work on developing a title for the DS this time around I've seen a lot of exciting opportunities and I myself am more excited that I now see the DS being a handheld or console that I can work on and develop a better game perhaps in the future. When the ..."
In a press release on Tecmo's site, Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword will be shipping March 2008 in the US. Previous rumors and spectulation placed Team Ninja's latest DS project to come out February 2008.
Also to whet gamers' appetites is the release of the US Boxart, which unfortunately is pretty underwhelming.

"Tecmo has released a "ninja master" gameplay video for Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword. The trailer offers plenty of footage of our favourite ninja slashing away at enemies and pulling off some classic cool moves."
A article that highlights the seven best games that will be released next month in November. I must say there is a high number of games being released excluding the seven named in this article. The seven best games are shown below:
7. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune
6. Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Swords
5. Mass Effect
4. Rock Band
3. Assassins Creed
2. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
1. Super Mario Galaxy
So, Nintendo sent out new PR, detailing their new release schedule. Unfortunately, that includes Brawl on Feb. 10
However, there are some very amusing and hidden gems. Assassin's Creed apparently is set to be released February '08, and Advance Wars: Days of Ruin will be releasing on January 21st. There are some delays, including February 4th for Professor Layton (originally Dec. 3). It is shaping up to be a great end of '07/early '08.
Take note that this is a partial list. Most not...
"Team NINJA executive producer Tomonobu Itagaki first burst into prominence with Dead or Alive; the original entry became notorious for the size and mobility of its female characters' breasts as much as its Virtua Fighter-baiting gameplay.
Since then, his development studio has increasingly gained relevance. He surprised the world by throwing his weight behind Microsoft in 2000 with the release of Dead or Alive 3 exclusively for the Xbox; in 2004, Ninja Gaiden reinvigorated action gamers wi..."
"1. He's always going to be wearing a jacket that's cooler than yours.
2. He's going to hit on your mom.
3. While there have been a few misses (Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 says "Hi."), Itagaki-san has a pretty solid track record, and his games are generally of high quality.
4. He's going to brag about it. A lot.
So no one is surprised when, in a recent interview, he says something like this to Game Informer:
Id like to show everybody some of the new stuff that weve been working on in..."
