The Entertainment Software Rating Board has released their rating summary for Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, detailing the game’s blood gore and other mature-rated contents.
Sony is reportedly about to launch something similar to their greatest hits for the PS3. For those that don't know what the "Greatest Hits" line of games was, it meant that the game had sold well and gotten overall good reviews. When a game got Greatest Hits status, the price of it got dropped to about $20 and it got a "Greatest Hits" logo on the case.
Sony is supposedly about to launch something similar for the PS3 in Japan. There's a catch though! The games will sell for about 3800 yen, ...
Tecmo announced that Ninja Gaidem Sigma for the Playstation 3 will receive 3 new down loadable Survival Modes in the next couple of months. "Weapon Master", 1 of 3 new Survival Modes will be arriving to the Playstation Network on August 30, priced at $2.99. "Speed Master", 2 of 3 will arrive in late September and "Rachel Master", 3 of 3 will arrive late October...
"As always a number of interesting trends are present in this week's data. The most important of which is the trend of PS3 sales at $499 (before a new $599 sku is introduced in August). It appears that Sony's E3 comments are in fact correct - sales do appear to have doubled - at least short term. Nonetheless, sales were still just above Xbox 360 and just under PS2."
While Xbox fanboys may whine about it being merely a glossy next-gen port of a game some three years old (Ninja Gaiden Black), Tecmo's revamped Ninja Gaiden Sigma is proving an absolute wonder hit with the critics. If you listen very closely, you can hear Sony execs the world over cheering from the rooftops.
"After last weeks mini release resurgence, which perhaps topped out with Starbreeze Studios incredibly atmospheric pseudo RPG-edged, first-person shooter The Darkness (PS3, Xbox 360), this week sees a typical trough arriving hot on the heels of a modest peak. And so, its off back to the summer doldrums we go following a tantalisingly brief glimpse of what the gaming scene really should look like."
"You'd think the man in charge of one of the toughest games around would play it on the hardest difficulty, wouldn't you? Not so for Yosuka Hayashi, director and producer of Ninja Gaiden Sigma on PS3. Turns out he plays it on 'Ninja Dog', which you are offered when you die lots. But we'll forgive him because his game's looking ace.
During a quick Q&A session, Hayashi hinted that the Tecmo development team are split between the three consoles in terms of their favourites, hinting a Wii game ..."
"1. He's always going to be wearing a jacket that's cooler than yours.
2. He's going to hit on your mom.
3. While there have been a few misses (Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 says "Hi."), Itagaki-san has a pretty solid track record, and his games are generally of high quality.
4. He's going to brag about it. A lot.
So no one is surprised when, in a recent interview, he says something like this to Game Informer:
Id like to show everybody some of the new stuff that weve been working on in..."
Team Ninja's new Ninja Gaiden Sigma is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 3 on June 3, but Team Ninja has no plans to port the game to Xbox 360, according to Team Ninja's leader, Tomonobu Itagaki. Itagaki has stated, however, that Team Ninja will still support Nintendo DS and Xbox 360.
"Tecmo has released some brand new screens of their upcoming PS3 title Ninja Gaiden Sigma, which feature not only a handful of new enemies, but also the reappearance of a few familiar faces.

The last time we saw Ryu Hayabusa don his all-black gear and katana was for the 2005 Xbox title Ninja Gaiden Black. Although his next-gen debut on the PlayStation 3 will essentially be a remake of the game, the new Ninja Gaiden Sigma will feature some other interesting additions, in..."
