"Nintendo had to announce the release of the 3DS early to beat reporters in Japan from leaking information too early. We still haven't seen the new hand-held from the House of Mario but we now may know when gamers can get it in their hands. According to industry source in the UK, the Nintendo 3DS will be released to retail this October ahead of the holiday season."
Everybody is speculating how the new Nintendo 3DS will work. The Kartel decided to investigate what the infamous Nintendo 3DS will really feature. Here are the speculations we've found from forums to experts alike.
Sources that are close to Nintendo have told IGN that the DSi will release in America in April, probably the 4th. And the price for the American DSi will be $179.99. The new version of the DS has a camera, slots for SD cards, and bigger screens. The DSi is already released in Japan, and has sold one million units there. Still no European date, but Nintendo is saying Spring 2009.
