The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

"Navi: Ocarina of Time
She may have been pretty helpful. However, here constant nagging was apparent from the very beginning of the game. “Hey! Wake Up! Look!” It would take a hero of Hyrule not to slap this fairy with a fly swatter and go back to sleep. Oh, but this was just the beginning. Through the rest of the game, she would nag you to death by pointing out every little thing to you. If you were trying to sneak up on some unsuspecting enemies, she would assuredly give away your position ..."

Every gamer has a classic library of nostalgic classics. When the time comes out to pop in the dusty cartridges however, a few titles almost all gamers can agree on. Take a look at the top ten games that you should take a second (or 100th) play through.

"10. Magic Powder (Link to the Past, Link’s Awakening)
The first item on our list is particularly strange. For starters, you get the magic powder in Link to the Past by finding a magic mushroom and giving it to a witch. Once acquired, the magic powder has many weird uses, ranging from transforming your enemies to waking up a mysterious bat-like creature who makes your magic more powerful. The most awesome use of the magic powder, however, is transforming a cucco into a human in Kakariko, who ..."

"History has shown that video games and movies don’t mix. Games based off of movies are generally of lower quality, and movies based off of games are much, much worse. On the bright side, at least a few of the movies are of the so-bad-it’s-good variety. Gamers know the movies will always suck, and as such parody movie trailers of games that would make awful movies are prevalent in out fandom. We at The Gaming Dungeon are not rich or geographically close enough to do one ourselves; but we, if n..."

"The question of the week this week involves the many different weapons introduced with gaming; some are possible but others are completely too bad-ass to be true. Weapons have been very created especially in the first person shooter genre (Including one of the most creative guns I have ever heard; the Landshark Gun).

For my favorite weapon I’m going to have to go with the Landshark gun from Armed and Dangerous. Actually, it’s better to say EVERY weapon from Armed and Dangerous, but we’ll f..."

"Videogame history is littered with rage and frustration. While we all love and cherish this noble hobby we call gaming, it has still been the source of thrown controllers, broken furniture and endless streams of curse words. While much anger has been had at bad level design, cheap deaths and wasted money, plenty of rage has been reserved for the characters themselves.

Game characters can be incredibly annoying. This is the result of an industry where game developers try to be writers, and ..."

OMG RPG of gamepro.com has compiled a list of the top ten swords from video games!

So what came first? The Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda series and is it any surprise when fans do stuff like this? The Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII came in second with Frostmourne of the Warcraft series in third.

Read on to discover the awesomeness of each!

The top seven life bars of all time is a bit of a quirky list, but a cool one! It contains such things as a pulsing heart and brain, spinal fluid and a face which gets bloodier by the second. In fact, one is even measured with a female's chest.

The Legend of Zelda Series took out first place with their class style of a series of hearts due to lasting a long time and one of the best remembered. This was followed by the loved classic Doom in second and somehow the Guitar Hero series in third.

The top ten video game baddies, marvel in their wickedness! See classics such as Dr. Eggman and Bowser, stare at Wario the overweight evil brother.

Though it's a real nice find to see Gruntilda Winkybunion from our beloved Banjo-Kazooie series get in at first! Followed by Final Fantasy VI character Kefka Palazzo and Ganondorf in third from the Legend of Zelda series.

"If there’s one thing that videogames do well – perhaps more so than any form of digital entertainment around – it’s immersion. The ability to suck in an individual not just through giving them complete control over their actions, but more pertinently, through the surroundings and awe-inspiring sights developers painstakingly carve and sculpt. It’s debatable that this sense of captivation has only progressed, with more talented designers getting more out of increasingly powerful consoles. And ..."
