Amazon has revealed the North American price and release date for the digital re-release of Parasite Eve II as a PSOne Classic on the PSP and Playstation 3.

The Entertainment Software Rating Board has rated Parasite Eve 2, which has not yet been released for the North American Playstation Store, for Playstation 3 and PSP.

"A few Months ago, Square Enix finally re-released one of their classic Playstation one RPG's on the PSN store. The Parasite Eve franchise had been dormant and forgotten for a long time, but with the release of The Third Birthday the series was remembered once again. Square Enix is now following it up with the re-release of Parasite Eve 2 on the PSN store."

It seems that the never ending flow of PlayStation One classics heading to the PS3/PSP compatible PSN store may be increasing soon in the Survival Horror genre with classic titles Parasite Eve 1 and Parasite Eve 2.
