"When Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 released in North America, it hit gamers like a shot to the head. The next-generation was well underway, yet this bizarre PS2 title—a fusion of Japanese dating simulators with RPG mechanics calling for players to shoot themselves to summon demons based upon world religions in a Jungian representation of urban Japan—swayed many. That’s an impressive feat in itself, and even more impressive was the quick release of Persona 4, its true sequel that built upon th..."
"The Persona series is a spin off from the Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner series. Many people have hardly heard of the Devil Summoner series so it is reasonable to assume you have never heard of the Persona series(Persona 4 is technically the fifth installment in that series, so again it unlikely many have actually heard about it). Secondly, Persona 4 was never really well advertised and was a smaller title from Atlus so initially it went unnoticed on many gamers' radars."
Somewhat intimidated by the technical complexities behind a successful cosplay, TK-Nation's Cassandra Khaw investigates a variety of Persona-related costumes. 4ng31's portrayal of Izanagi has her convinced she shouldn't give up her day job.
"“We Are Preparing To Start Work On The Next Persona”

Rumors of Persona 5 have been swirling since last year. One article even mentioned Shoji Meguro as the game’s producer even though it has not been officially announced by Atlus.
In the column, Hashino also said he wants to add elements expected of the series and change things within those constraints. When Hashino joined the Persona..."

"The last decade was an absolutely amazing one, at least where videogames were concerned. The new technologies of the past two console generations have enabled the medium to soar to incredible new heights, introducing entirely new types of experiences and – perhaps more notably – delivering the sexy better than ever before. The decade from 2000 to 2009 brought us increasingly realistic (or at least convincingly idealized) heroines and heroes that not only looked hot when rendered in 3D, but al..."

"Persona 4 is the latest installment of one of Atlus's many Shin Megami Tensei spin-off series. The game returns to the basics that its predecessor, Persona 3, laid, but fixed some common gripes many gamers had with P3 as well."
"The Playstation 2 is now $99, meaning you have absolutely no excuse to not have one. In fact, you’ve already gone to the store and bought one, right? Good! You have made the right decision, the Playstation 2 library is very large and very diverse; it will fill in any gaps between releases this generation. Now that you are a proud owner of your Playstation 2 system, I am starting a series for you on what games you need to get. Each week I’ll look at a genre and what in that genre you need to g..."
"Once again I have a new column, Dear Developers. This will be a wish-list of what I, or whoever else contributes to the column, want in the next iteration of a franchise. Things that could be improved, things that could be removed, and things that would just be awesome. For the pilot, I figured Id do what is now my favorite game series, Persona."
