Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations

"Nothing says "manly" quite like a scruffy mane of hair sprouting from one's face. With such figures as Mr. T, Chuck Norris, Santa Clause, and even Jesus Christ sporting a glorious beard, it's obvious that some bearded folk just wouldn't look as awesome without their beautiful tufts of facial hair."

The Luchacast returns with another exciting episode in "Episode 3: Mario Might Be Evil"! Join Samuel Cooke, Charles Alan Ratliff (that's me!), Eric Shepard, and Mr. Popovic himself as we discuss the true nature of Mario, naked camera fun with Uno, the future of open-world games, Quake beginners and Quake III, the latest StarCraft II update, Persona 3 Portable and being banned from the playground, Scott Pilgrim, the awesomeness of the Phoenix Wright musicals, griefers, and more! 5/5 Stars, bab...

"No, Capcom did not learn from the mistakes it made with other half-assed Phoenix Wii ports. Besides the first entry, of course, Trials and Tribulations is the best game in the lawyer adventure series. It would be nice to see it get the treatment it deserves, but if Capcom hasn’t fixed its DS-to-WiiWare methodology by now, don’t expect much from this series’ appearance on the big screen."

"Capcom Entertainment has today announced that three classic Ace Attorney games are scheduled for digital release on Nintendo’s WiiWare next year. The series of WiiWare releases will begin right at the start, with Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney followed by Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trails and Tribulations. Gamers can expect the deliberations to begin January 2010, with a price of 1,000 Wii Points each."

Scans from this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu have surfaced, revealing that Capcom will be indeed be bringing the Gyakuten Saiban/Ace Attorney series to WiiWare.

From the partial scan we have, it looks as the game will use the Wii Remote only, making use of the pointer function to select options. Button presses will be able to bring up menus, such as the Court Record; it'll probably function more like the GBA versions of the games.

The release schedule, so far announced only for Japan...

Here's an interesting piece of information. Ryota Niitsuma, the producer for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, said that they had initially wanted to include Phoenix Wright and Franziska von Karma from the Ace Attorney games. However, they ran into problems when trying to come up with a possible moveset (specially in regards to his famous catch phrase) and as a result, they decided to exclude him from the roster. But Niitsuma has hinted that his appearance in future games is an open possibility.

GamersDailyNews takes a look at what Europeans can expect from the DS's hottest lawyer as the European release date is finally announced for Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations. Twists, turns and new playable characters are all included.

"For a long time it seemed (somewhat bizarrely) that Capcom was going to neglect the release of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney- Trials and Tribulations in Europe, despite successful runs in both Japan and North America. However, if the game’s producer’s latest words are anything to go by, that decision has been reversed.

Speaking on Nintendo’s official game page for the Ace Attorney series, Phoenix Wright’s producer is asked whether he was aware of any plans to see Trials and Tribulations rel..."

And now, here's the kicker: the player will play as Phoenix Wright's star rival from the prosecution: Miles Edgeworth. Could this...

The post describes my personal experience with the series, what I like best about it, and best of all, includes high-quality artwork of the characters, some (low-quality) screens, and even cooler, whole songs from the game that you can play while viewing it!
