"The following is a list of 25 exceptional single player games. It covers a diverse range of styles and genres but each title offers a worthwhile gaming experience. Each game on this list is either exclusively a solo affair or, in the few cases where a multiplayer mode is present, the single player campaign is the core experience of the game. Games with multiplayer modes are denoted with an asterisk and the list is presented in no particular order."

"Zombies are everywhere these days. They've staggered out of the closet, come out of the catacombs, exploded onto the streets of Hollywood and according to what I heard, have even dabbled in the hentai industry. Where cool was once the exclusive territory of the bold and the beautiful, it's now slowly being overrun by individuals of a different flavor. A putrid, maggot-infested flavor, to be precise.

The previous generation had the Suicide Girls. Ours has zombies."

The removal comes at the request of the Michael Jackson estate."

"The popular Plants vs Zombies tower defense game from PopCap Games hasn't officially been announced for the Xbox 360 but it's pretty much been confirmed that it is coming. Further confirmation comes a leak of the Achievements for the game which also brings news of two new features that aren't in the PC or iPhone versions."

"In developer Pop Cap’s latest game, Plants Vs. Zombies, you fend off ravenous zombies with a variety of war-ready plants. The game combines zombies and tower defense gameplay in a fresh take on the two genres (zombies are a genre, right?). The game is packed with humorous characters and situations and has a style all its own. Where else can you dispatch a zombie Michael Jackson with an angry jalapeño pepper?"

"Every day, there’s more evidence of the rise of niche market gaming. Take a look in your pocket. What games are on your cell phone? Maybe you’ve just got the demos that came on the phone, but the numbers show that most of you have paid for at least one cell phone game. "Yes, all the things you’re thinking right now…I thought them too. It’s not that there aren’t fun PopCap games out there…but they aren’t exactly what you expect to see as a review on Binge Gamer - or on most gaming sites, for that matter. But PvZ is different. Really different. I actually can’t believe that it isn’t available on consoles yet. I’m ashamed to be addicted to a freakin’ PopCap game.

PvZ is a classic tower defense game. Basically, you have a yard that’s divided into squares. On ..."

"I would have never imagined the creators of Bejeweled would have something that would interest me, but they succeeded with the success of Peggle, available on virtually everything with a screen. Their latest game Plants Vs. Zombies struck my interest just by the title alone, who doesn’t love stuff with zombies in it. What I got was a game that completely blew me away and would not let me quit playing due to my loss of will power. The tower defense genre is getting tapped out and its nice to s..."
