Rumor suggests that having all content missing updated for re-launch of the PSN Store be the most logical way to bring the network back up rather than asking gamers to hold out and wait even longer than they already have for content that has expired release dates and is available on other platforms.
PlayStation Network is down and people aren't happy about it but there is a possibility now that the PSN may get some great new features added to it when it is finally brought back online.

It was announced a while ago that Sony will release a premium service for the Playstation Network. No word on what the service will offer, it it was later revealed that there will be two plans, a $20 service and $60 service. Now Engadget believe that they have some leaked information on the premium service. If this is all true, I might consider upgrading.
