When a person contacted Junichi Masuda directly asking about possible remakes of the Generation III Pokémon games, he emailed back saying...

"Thanks for your thoughts. Ruby and Sapphire are important games to me. I will consider your request."

This isn't by any means any sort of confirmation, but the pain of fans worldwide can be quelled, even if just for a short while.

A list sent in to writer and co-ordinator of nintendo3dsblog.com - David Turnbull - reveals the 'finalised' list of the 20 free games early adopters of the Nintendo 3DS will recieve pending September 1st.
