In this top 5, I list my favorite video games based on anime. Some of the entries will surprise you, but they all have anime/manga that released either at the same time or before the game was published. There's some real juggernauts in this list, and a few surprises. Take a look, and you'll see what I mean.
Skylanders is a unique style of game in which players can interchange characters with collectible figures they place on a surface. Is this a concept that other games could utilize? Mike D from Yet Another Gaming Show looks at a couple other examples of games that could consider this very notion.

The PokéWalker, a pedometer used to help level up your Pokémon while walking, is one of the biggest features in the latest Nintendo DS game. However after some sleuthing, we've discovered that gamers would have to walk for about 1000 miles to get the most out of the PokéWalker.
"Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver come with a Pokewalker, a small device allowing you to bring your Pokemon with you on walks. It can be used to level up your Pokemon, catch new Pokemon, or get more items. The small addition of the Pokewalker is bringing back old Pokemon fans who haven’t played the new games. Have you seen Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver in action? Now’s your chance. While you’re watching the video, try to pay close attention to anything that’s different about the upcoming “enhanced” remakes. Good luck—you’ll need it.
You see, there’s not much difference between the “enhanced” remakes and its recent predecessors.
"Remakes are cheap, easy, nostalgic and give younger gamers a chance to play a classic they missed due to being in the womb. After major gaming conglomerates (mostly Capcom) realized how much money they could make more and more have been popping up these days.
Within the next year gamers will see a good number of remakes; check out a handful that we can’t wait to get our grubby little paws on."
