The latest Famitsu issue includes the top ten best-selling games in Japan during 2009 so far. The list is dominated by Nintendo DS games with four titles appearing on the top ten. The rest of it is filled evenly with PSP, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii games. No Xbox 360 game managed to make the top ten best-selling list in Japan for 2009.

The fifth title in Nintendo's Chunsoft-developed Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series, and third of this current "Explorers" arc of the series, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky will see a release in North America this Fall. The game will feature new Pokémon, and new Special Episodes, expanding on the Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness games.
