Skylanders is a unique style of game in which players can interchange characters with collectible figures they place on a surface. Is this a concept that other games could utilize? Mike D from Yet Another Gaming Show looks at a couple other examples of games that could consider this very notion.
Video games make good Movies. Video Games also make good fake Movie trailers. They are hilarious and coming from video games you would never expect. So check them out!
Pokemon 000, Triple Zero, 'The Victory Pokemon', Victini will be available for those that buy Pokemon Black or Pokemon White from launch March 6, until April 10
"This week's cosplay babe of the week was a toughy. She's associated with one of the most popular video game franchises in the history of gaming, but more for the merchandising and cartoons than being a gym leader in red and blue. The moment we see Misty, we instantly say "gotta catch 'em all"."
"When you read that headline, you were not mistaken. This week's Cosplay Babe of the Week is indeed Pikachu. And while we may not be exactly sure what sex star of the Pokemon series is, Pikachu is a species and not one single character. Plus it's cosplay for goodness sake. Lighten up and enjoy one of the guilty pleasures of the gaming world - women dressed as gaming characters."
"Lopunny poses like a Playboy bunny in a centerfold spread. Or a prostitute working the sidewalk. Either way, it's sexually suggestive. It also grabs its chest area like it's trying to keep you from seeing the goods. And is it just me or do Lopunny's elbows look like a pair of drooping...boobs? There's so much subconscious sexual imagery going on with Lopunny - if I saw one standing like that at a bar, I might just have to take it home with me."
A great graduation speech about trying to be the best, like no one ever was, traveling across the land, searching far and wide, evolving and training to achieve your goals.
Oh and Pokemon
One week removed from WiiWare Launching in Europe, the PAL region continues to get some love from Nintendo of Europe. Three games were added today to the Virtual Console, and it's a pretty diverse list too.
The first game up in this set is Samurai Shodown, the first game in SNK's fighting game series. The series is regarded as one of the top-tier fighting game franchises, with this game and its sequel, Samurai Shodown II receiving high praise from gamers and critics alike.
This week...
"#10 Happiny
It's not like Happiny isn't cute. We would love to pick it up and squish it. It's just that Happiny looks like Kirby in drag, and although Nintendo's pink puffball loves dressing up, we just never envisioned him prancing around as a girl. Hey, we'd love him no matter what he looked like."
