Highlights this week include Onimusha Essentials (the first three main games in the series), Guilty Gear 2, Line Rider 2, Bleach: Dark Souls, The Legend of Kage 2 (the only sequel I know of released 20 years after its predecessor), Prey the Stars, and Spectrobes: Beyond The Portals. Also, cake and basketball!

Here are review scores for a load of recent Nintendo DS and Wii games.

Naruto has made a slip, only achieving a 6.5.

Samba De Amigo (Wii) and Kirby Super Star Ultra (DS) held the spotlight by achieving a 9 each respectively.

The lowest score was for NBA Live 09 All-Play (Wii) with the poor achievement of 4.

The average for the game was around 7-8.

The third party market in the games industry is a tumultuous one, especially in Japan. Koei in particular, who has begun merger talks with fellow game publisher Tecmo.
