"Who would’ve ever thought “cloud” gaming was so close to reality? Yeah, Steam allows us to purchase games on the fly, but imagine something better. Is it too good to be true? It’s hard to say. I never thought I’d see Mass Effect on the iPhone, after all. Since its release, OnLive has gotten a ton of attention—while there has been a group of naysayers clinging to the very idea of Onlive, some people have been very happy with the outcome."

"During the New York Toy Fair over the weekend, it was announced that, continuing with their recent fascination with recreating famous movie scenes/characters, LEGO would be releasing a line of LEGO figures and playsets for the upcoming Prince of Persia movie.
Sure, the toys will be based on the movie, and not the game, but it's a movie based on a game. So, in a roundabout way, we'll have the first LEGO toys to be made from a video game series, and not the other way around.
The toys won'..."

"Last summer, Prince of Persia Classic came to the Xbox Live Arcade. Now, according to an ESRB listing, it appears that PS3 owners will get in on the action.
No release date has been revealed (or that the game even existed on the PS3), but considering the number of titles that have leaked in this fashion, it shouldnt be too much longer before Ubisoft pulls back the curtains."

"Ubisoft has debunked rumours that the new Prince of Persia game will be called Heir Apparent, stating that no name has officially been announced.
As we reported last week, a sneak preview of the latest Game Informer magazine had previously alluded to the new title. But a moderator has since posted on Ubisoft's official forums stating that 'Heir Apparent' is the name of the article and has nothing to do with the game itself.
Despite this, the new Prince of Persia game is still on track f..."
"The new Prince of Persia game isn't called Heir Apparent, as previously reported from a Game Informer cover. From the Ubisoft forums:
Rumors have popped up that the new Prince of Persia game is called Heir Apparent.
This is not the case! The origin of the mistake is in the title of the Game Informer
article on Prince of Persia called Heir Apparent.
Just to clarify: The Heir Apparent is the name of the article, and it is NOT the name of the new game.
No name has officially been an..."
"A few tidbits of information have sneaked out regarding the new Prince of Persia game, including the title and launch window.
The new game will be known as Prince of Persia: Heir Apparent, according to the latest issue of Game Informer. Without any other information, we can't even hazard a guess as to what that's supposed to mean, if it means anything at all.
Meanwhile, Ubisoft has confirmed that the game will launch in its third fiscal quarter, meaning we can expect it between October ..."

"Since its birth, video gaming has undergone an incredible evolution, from simple sprites and a ghost-eating Pac-Man to todays domination of home consoles. After all that time, any gamer whos worth their weight in rupees will remember (fondly, or otherwise) some once-common sights that went the way of the Virtual GameBoy, never to be seen or heard from again. CRACKED recalls some video-game staples of yesteryear, and admits that, in the end, there are still more of them kicking around than w..."
IGN has gotten a hold of a trailer for Prince of Persia that's being remade on the XBOX 360. I must say, the graphics are definitely an improvement over the original. A lot of remakes these days have just a few additions at the end or a few more special features while retaining the same graphics, such as the recent Final Fantasy remakes on the GBA. They really outdid themselves this time.
