The Prince of Persia movie trailer was amazing. The new poster...not so much.

Although, speaking from a female perspective, there is something awfully dreamy about Jake Gyllenhall's eyes here... and his small smile...and his, wait, where was I going with this?

New images have been released of Jake Gyllenhaal on the set of the upcoming Prince of Persia film. Gyllenhaal seems to be taking on the persona of the prince as well as you could expect for someone who doesn't look Persian in the slightest.

Jake Gyllenhaal has been cast in the new Prince of Persia film and is set to take the role of Dastan. This film is based on the games and includes actors such as Gemma Arterton, who will play Tamina.
The two will have to stop Ben Kingsley from getting the Sands of Time.

Filming has just kicked off on the Moroccan set, and is being directed by Mike Newell who also shot the fourth Harry Potter film.

If your not, take a look at eh pictures and concept art. The game will change it's combat style to a more "Soul Calibur" fighting and will use Cel Shading.
