Nintendo has added four new titles to its Nintendo Selects lineup of discounted games.. The games will retail for $19.99 and become available at the price August 26.
I remember when I loved playing those Space shooting games and the classical Mario. Some of us usually forget these things by now but let's bring back those old fashioned characters in this Top 10 list. Check them out.

Punch-Out!! wowed many NES gamers back in the '80s thanks to its simple yet highly addictive boxing gameplay. Considered a classic, this Virtual Console download remains a great title worth playing.

The Producer of Punch-Out tells Official Nintendo Magazine that he would love to make a sequel to the game and gives them a few ideas he had and pretty much completely dropped the bomb saying things like "Once the game has a big enough fanbase and "The sequel would be our opportunity" pretty much just confirms it(Kind of).

"Nintendo hardcore fans are hanging by the last thread for some great hardcore games; I know I have felt this year is a bit lackluster in the games that i would consider great. Punch-Out is an attempt to satisfy us hungry devoted fans and is successful, for a bit. What you get is a game that feels too familiar to the already simple gameplay; even though the game is a blast to play. If you need a reason to turn your Wii on again, this might be what you are looking for."

It's been fifteen years since Little Mac has stepped into the ring for the WVBA Championship, and now he's back in the latest promotional video for Nintendo's upcoming title: Punch-Out!! for the Wii.

In a press release today, Nintendo has announced release dates for a number of first-party and third-party games headed for the Wii and DS in the second quarter of 2009 (although technically April to June, this includes March as well).

"I must admit it was pretty difficult to choose the finalists since there are over 50 Wii games to be released this year (at least this is the number we know of!). Therefore, we had to let out other promising titles like Endless Ocean 2, Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers or Overlord, but Im pretty sure that the list below manages to cover the hottest upcoming releases. At Nintendo of America's Press Conference being held right now, Nintendo has confirmed that Punch-Out!! Wii will see a US release. It is currently slated for the first half of 2009.

From the Nintendo Fall Press Conference last night, there are the first screenshots for Nintendo's newly announced franchise revival, Punch-Out!!, which will be for the Wii. Little Mac makes his return to the big screen starring in how own game, after making side appearances in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Captain Rainbow. It is unknown as of right now where or not the game will feature Wii MotionPlus or Wii Balance Board compatibility.
