"The recently announced title for DS, Ragnarok Online DS, has been confirmed by the developers, GungHo, not to be a MMO. Instead the game will be a standalone Action RPG based on the series. The game will still use the Wi-Fi functions of the DS but, at the moment, exactly how is not known."

"GungHo Online Entertainment announced they are working on a Nintendo DS version of Rangarok Online. There aren’t any concrete details about how GungHo plans to translate the game and they have plenty of time to figure it out since Ragnarok Online is slated for 2008. I’m interested to see how GungHo is going to pack the world of Rangarok into a DS game. Is this going to be a full online MMO or a spin off in the same universe?
