It's all about the DS this week, fellas, ladies. Sure, there's a few notables for the other platforms (Rune Factory: Frontier on the Wii, Resistance: Retribution on PSP), but none of them can top a whopping six high profile titles, and of such a great variety. Three RPGs, one RTS, one shooter, one racer, and GTA: Chinatown Wars? Never been a better time to be a DS owner than now..

In an interview with industry newssite GamesIndustry, Ubisoft's executive director Alain Corre confirmed that there is a Red Steel 2 in development, and will make use of Nintendo's Wii MotionPlus 1:1 accessory that the company revealed at the E3 Media & Business Summit a couple weeks ago.

Corre hopes that with the Wii MotionPlus, they could rectify the mistakes that plagued the original Red Steel, which launched with the Wii back in November of 2006.
