It's been a week since the Resident Evil 5 demo was releasd on Xbox Live, and now the demo is finally available on PSN!

"The Resident Evil 5 demo is finally here, exclusive to the Xbox 360 for one week before it shows up on the PlayStation 3. And according to the official press release, which you can read below, the Resident Evil 5 demo is packed with massive amounts of gameplay content for demo standards, allowing players to experience three levels of single and two-player cooperative play, meet new characters, and play with plenty of weapons. Let the mayhem begin!"
"Capcom has confirmed the PS3 is getting a Resident Evil 5 demo after all - over a week later than it appears on Xbox Live Marketplace.
Levels Assembly Place and Shanty Town are included, and can be played alone with a computer-brain companion or with a friend in split-screen or PSN co-op.
The demo will be available on PSN from 2nd February. The full game, remember, comes out here on Friday 13th March."

The next installment of the landmark survival horror franchise from Capcom will take action to a new level with a two-level, playable demo available exclusively on Xbox 360 for one week beginning Monday, January 26."
"We just discovered that MS might be using some sort of Xbox 360 IP identification to disconnect non-Japanese gamers from Xbox Live as soon as the Resident Evil 5 demo is loaded.
No matter how you "illegally" obtained the demo (Japanese accounts or torrent downloads), if you don't live in Japan, you'll be booted off Live. While the demo is still playable offline, your dreams of RE5 Live co-op have been infected with an incurable virus."
Here yesterday a demo for Resident Evil 5 was announced, but only for the 360 and even then only in Japan. Capcom have been quick however to confirm that a demo will be avaliable in all major territories, on both PS3 and 360.

Famitsu reports in its latest issue that a demo of the latest and greatest in survival horror will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace starting December 5. Players will be able to sample two stages of play set in that familiar urban setting from past game show demos. These stages will be playable both offline and through co-op."
