The sales results for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Monster Hunter Tri, Resident Evil 5, Bionic Commando and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles during Capcom’s 2009 fiscal year.

In their latest fiscal report, Capcom comments about the sales performaces from their recent games including Monster Hunter Tri, Bionic Commando, Dark Void and more.

The latest Famitsu issue includes the top ten best-selling games in Japan during 2009 so far. The list is dominated by Nintendo DS games with four titles appearing on the top ten. The rest of it is filled evenly with PSP, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii games. No Xbox 360 game managed to make the top ten best-selling list in Japan for 2009.

"The figures, compiled by GfK Chart-Track, show family-oriented and educational games have become the most popular with the UK public. With combined sales volumes of 1.65 million units, Nintendo's Wii Fit, Wii Play and Mario Kart Wii titles equate to 72% of the top five 'best sellers' chart. The period also saw total sales of Nintendo's Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training surpass the three million units mark to become the UK's most popular game ever."

The NPD Group has released their hardware and software numbers for the month of April, representing sales for the United States for the four week period of April 5th to May 2nd.
