If you were left feeling disappointed with Resident Evil 5's "Versus" DLC, then you might be pleased to hear that Capcom are considering releasing more content for RE5 sometime in the near future. On Capcom's official forum, Capcom-Unity.com, fans were asked what DLC they would like to see next, and the most popular ideas may be forwarded to RE5's producer Jun Takeuchi.

A month ago it was revealed that the next Resident Evil game would be on the Nintendo Wii. Rumor has it, the game could be an Umbrella Chronicles sequel or [/link]. But if Capcom's hints are anything to go by, it might even be a remake or direct port of Resident Evil: Code Veronica. I guess we'll find out within the coming days, at Capcom's Resident Evil 5 launch event.

A rumor is currently floating around the 'net that Resident Evil 5 will be a short game. Despite the producer announcing that gamers will get 20+ hours out of RE5, gaming magazine Xbox World 360 disputes this, claiming that they have only gotten 8 hours out of the game. 80 minues of which is cutscenes!

I guess we won't know who is telling the truth until the game is actually released. Here's hoping its a lot longer than 8 hours though!

"Microsoft may release a red Xbox 360 in conjunction with the release of the highly anticipated Resident Evil 5.

Art Technica first broke the story last month, but their post detailing a late night meeting with a "mole" read more like noir fiction than hard news. As Ars described it, the red 360 would be available as part of a Resident Evil 5 bundle.

The big question is — would you want a red 360? Kotaku's conceptual mock-up looks, to put it mildly, hideous. I certainly wouldn't want it ..."

Since there's no official word from Capcom as of yet, we'll have to still classify this one as a rumour, but the source is solid. CD Projekt, publishers of The Witcher and the folks behind Good Old Games, have apparently been talking to Capcom lately, and have revealed in an interview with Polish Gram TV that a PC version of Resident Evil 5 is coming for sure.

"Resident Evil 5 bundle

* Red hardware
* Red controller
* A copy of Resident Evil 5
* Exclusive Resident Evil 5 NXE theme
* Download coupon for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD

I knew the information was solid-the Mole always breaks stories before anyone else had them. This bundle would be coming, and it looks great. No information on pricing or hard drive size, if it even comes with a hard drive, but this lines up with Capcom being more Xbox-friendly these days."

In news that can only be described as "epically awesome in the most glorious of fashions", Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi has told real gaming news site Eurogamer that we should all be expecting to hear an announcement about a RE5 demo "relatively soon", saying:

"We'll be making an announcement about [a demo] relatively soon."

But that's not all, dudes and dolls. Later in the same interview Takeuchi went on to hint that the PlayStation 3 version of the game may not need any s...

"The main reason I'm writing this is to bring back attention to Resident Evil 5, a game that hasn't been getting the hype it deserves. So hit the jump for some speculative facts.

Last week, I had the pleasure of joining John Martone and God Len for Spoiler-San. As we shot the sh*t on all things Cowboy Bebop, we started digging around IMDB for information on the voice actors. God Len came across Wendee Lee's profile and saw that she has been cast in Resident Evil 5. So unless Capcom decides..."
