The Resident Evil series has been under a lot of scrutiny as of late; about the repetition found in the gameplay. But more than anything else, the concerns players have with the evolution of the story has been massive.

Resident Evil 4 and 5 Comparison Video - It's eerily similar
If you've been keeping tabs on the latest Resident Evil 5 trailers you would have noticed something rather ... odd. The majority of character and enemy animations are identical to Resident Evil 4. Opening doors, reloading guns, enemy deaths, jumping from ledges, etc are all the same.
Fair enough if Capcom don't want to fix what isn't broken, but there should be at least some improvement in a next-gen game. It's just lazy, otherwise.

E3 2008 has had a massive kick-off today.
Here is one of Capcom's biggest showings at the expo - The latest Resident Evil 5 trailer, featuring some brand new scenes, gameplay and "zombie" enemies, (as well as a guy with some awful voice-acting that will bring fans back to the days of RE1 ... okay, maybe it's not that bad).
Splendid timing, you're just in time for the fireworks show.

"Throughout the Microsoft E3 conference, the company continued to harp on the fact that they were only showing titles in their 2007 lineup, but they made a single exception with Capcom's Resident Evil 5. We haven't seen a single screen shot from that game since the original Tokyo Game Show trailer, but Capcom debuted a new look at the zombie sequel."
