Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection is coming to the PlayStation 3 in June 2012. The collection includes Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, both originally released on Wii.
According to Capcom's latest financial report, the company was disappointed with the sales of Okami (Wii) and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.
However, they were pleased with the "satisfactory" sales of Monster Hunter 3, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite PSP the Best, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, and Mega Man EXE: Operate Shooting Star.
"Following the rumour that Capcom was no longer interested in developing videogames for Wii, spurred on by disappointing sales of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, Capcom Europe has today delivered a statement. Denying the report, the publisher reaffirms it’s commitment to being a multi-format developer and publisher."
"Bishop Bryant of Jarrow, Archdeacon Brian Smith and Rt Rev John Goddard have all accused the game of promoting such interests amongst the UK’s youth, with the latter stating: “If we dabble in this area we open ourselves to influences and put ourselves at risk. I would regard any encouragement for children to be drawn into this behaviour with extreme horror.”
Capcom spokesperson Leo Tan, however, is less convinced about the proposed risk: “This is scaremongering and typical religious hyster..."

The Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles official website had been updated, allowing you to play the first levels of the Raccon City, Rockfort Island and South America chapters right from your browser.
Obviously the final product will be alot more polished, but it gives gamers a good idea on what the game will be like.

"To celebrate the launch of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles exclusively on Wii on November 27th 2009, Capcom Europe is calling all zombies to head to central London on 31st October. The publisher is offering a free Nintendo Wii and a copy of the latest instalment in the Resident Evil series to the best dressed zombie, in a competition known as the Zombie Walk."
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles is easily one of the most anticipated Wii games this year and now Capcom has announced a new scenario for the game. Previously all the other scenarios in were retellings of previous RE games but Darkside Chronicles will feature a brand new original scenario that is a prequel to RE4. Capcom hasn't released a trailer for this scenario but several images for it have been released.

James Walker and Dante (of Sci-Fi channels WCG Ultimate Gamer were able to check out the new Resident Evil game for Wii. James is a huuuuge RE fan, so made sure to pull some good information about the game.

Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles was announced just a few days ago, and already Capcom have big plans for it. Producer, Masachika Kawata, revealed that they are "looking to...go back to a 'very dark' style of Resident Evil".

The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed the new RE title for the Wii... Resident Evil: Darside Chronicles. It will be an on-rails shooter similar to The Umbrella Chronicles, and will relive parts of Resident Evil 2's plot. Go to the source for full details.
