Resonance of Fate's Leanne (known as Reanbell in Japan) doesn't exactly have a way with words, but nonetheless, she has wished gamers a Happy Valentine's Day and offered them some "weird looking" home-made chocolates that her buddies Vashyron and Zephyr didn't want.

Err... thanks, I think?

When swimwear and gaming mix, the results are usually meant to be sexy. But Resonance of Fate is taking a different route, giving the characters some of the most disturbing (or is that hilarious?) swimwear costumes you'll ever see in a game.

The giant animal outfits are a completely different matter alltogether.

Yep, Resonance of Fate is certainly shaping up to be a humorous JRPG experience.

Resonance of Fate already has an impressive amount of optional costumes and character customizations, and even more are still to come!

Today, SEGA revealed the console exclusive costumes for the game. The Xbox 360 outfit is based on the dresses worn by Microsoft's booth babes at last year's Tokyo Game Show, while the Playstation 3 outfit is printed with little pictures of Sony Japan's mascot, Toro.

Despite its unfortunate release date (the same day as FFXIII's release), Resonance of Fate is starting to look like one of the more promising JRPGs of this generation. Personally, I'm loving the steampunk style.

Here is the newest batch of screenshots for the game.

"Barbarella is described by Famitsu as “Sexy Dynamite.” I disagree. I’m just not as into the “pale elf girl that looks somewhere between a vampire and a white railing with huge earrings and whose outfit makes her look like her abdomen has been ripped apart” look as Famitsu people must be. Her outfit was apprently handpicked by the cardinal. (Oho, the churches are gonna love this game.) Also she loves meat and wine.

In last week's issue of Weekly Famitsu, a new character was unveiled for tri-Ace and Sega's upcoming JRPG Resonance of Fate (End of Eternity in Japan). This character, Reanbell joins the already-known cast of Zephyr and Vashyron. Like the two male characters, Reanbell also uses guns and can be equipped with grenades and recovery items. A member of Vashyron's PMF, she almost lost her life when she first met with Zephyr.
