Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure

"Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of Square Enix interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, today announces that Nippon Ichi Software's Rhapsody ~A Musical Adventure~ will be released by Square Enix across PAL territories on 20th March 2009, exclusively on the NintendoDS handheld system."

Square Enix announces today Nippon Ichi's Rhapsody ~A Musical Adventure~ will be out across PAL territories Spring 2009 on the DS.

The game received some great and some less than great scores upon its release here in North America; in either case, it looks worth a try (any game in which you can attack your enemies with flying cakes is worth a try, no?).

Siliconera's Spencer Yip managed to sit hit down with NIS America's Marketing Manager, and talked about the company's two DS games that are releasing this week in North America: Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure and Disgaea DS. Both games are the first DS games published by NISA.

The main talking points were the transition of Rhapsody from the PS1 to the Nintendo DS, which in the process turned the game from a SRPG to a more traditional RPG, and some of the additions and changes to Disgaea DS.
