"Motion Sickness is a feature to help you find the best motion-controlled games in a sea of terrible waggle games and shovelware. So help me move the coffee table and scoot the couch back, and let's take a look at R.U.S.E."

All Age Gaming's John Elliott takes the latest console strategy game brought to us by Ubisoft, R.U.S.E. In a genre generally seen on the PC, does R.U.S.E. give console owners a reason to get strategic, or is it best left to those with a computer mouse in hand?

"There is no incredibly deep level of base building in RUSE. Players only need to manage and protect their supply depots, tank, aircraft and artillery bases. Those become highly important and victory depends on a steady flow of supplies and production of units. I did not feel that I needed a greater level of control or research as it was great to simply focus on the strategic elements in the given battles."

OXCGN's youngest writer gets a chance to crack his knuckles over Ubisoft's Real Time Strategy game, R.U.S.E and share his thoughts with you.

While it's not the style of game that gets me all excited, it certainly is one that requires a great deal of thought and on-the-move thinking.

Come check it out, it's an interesting take for aa review, as two of the cast of the game discuss their thoughts as well.

You need to read it to understand Come check it out, nice images and a good in-gam...

""The art of deception can be pretty slick if it’s played to the right extent. An espionage-based movie, for instance, will keep our attention if it has a hero who’s a master of con games, or an extraordinary twist midway through that changes everything you’ve come to realize in the film. Ubisoft has adapted the art of deception into its latest game, the real-time strategy title R.U.S.E. And while it has some interesting concepts behind it, the general flow of the game and lack of interest in ..."

""Unfortunately, the presentation wasn’t as spruced up as I would’ve preferred. The menus were hard to look at, the all-CG videos offer characters that look as if they were created out of Play Doh, and the load times were atrocious. We can only cross our fingers that the preview build isn’t evidence of the final product as it’s hard to overlook the blandness of R.U.S.E.""

"The R.U.S.E. team has announced that there will be Free Multiplayer Weekend starting July, 15th and it appears that Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 players will, once again, be left out of the fun. A PC based Beta may be easier, more economical and less challenging to conduct but I fear that any of the issues surrounding the console versions that are discovered during betas may remain unresolved at launch."

"Following the announcement that the Public Beta Test for Ubisoft’s forthcoming R.U.S.E. has surpassed one million client downloads from Steam, the host digital distribution portal, Ubisoft has revealed the final box art design for the game. Currently expected to arrive across Europe on 4th June, 2010, R.U.S.E. is currently in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC."

"Ubisoft has announced that the Public Beta Test for the highly anticipated Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game, R.U.S.E., has reached over one million downloads from the digital distribution portal Steam. Slated for release on June 4th 2010, R.U.S.E. is set to reinvigorate the RTS genre by introducing deception techniques that allow players to bluff their enemies to lead their nation's army to victory in war."

UGDB has an interview with Mathieu Girard, Senior Producer at Ubisoft, regarding the potential multiplatform strategy hit RUSE. Some of the highlights are: will it be possible to play the game with a touchscreens like the shown in the announcement trailer, how long is the solo campaign, how many CGI scenes we can expect, new information for ISISZOOM engine, and more...

"If ever a gaming genre has become a lightning rod for brow-knotting aphorisms, it’s real-time strategy. Conventional wisdom dictates that RTS has failed to crack the console market in this or any other generation, despite repeated attempts from talented teams, and its native PC home has been relentlessly attacked by pirates in recent years. It’s a two-pronged assault to which even the biggest names in games have apparently no answer, say the worriers."

"Unfortunately, that will not be the case, as Ubisoft announced today that Splinter Cell Conviction has been delayed out of its current fiscal year and into April 2010. The publisher also said that its all-new World War II strategy game R.U.S.E. has been pushed into its upcoming fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2010, to March 31, 2011. Ubisoft gave no explanation for the delays."

"Following the revelation of the UPlay unlock actions and rewards set to be including in the forthcoming Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction, Ubisoft has now announced the details for the third title set to promote the new service. Due to launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC next year, R.U.S.E. is an upcoming Real-Time Strategy (RTS) videogame developed by Eugen Systems."

In August Ubisoft gave gamers a chance to sign up for the beta of their new RTS game RUSE, the game which pits players into a RTS controlled by hand gestures and body movement. The beta has finally been released today and if you were one of the many to have signed up, codes are being emailed today.

All Age Gaming's John Elliott takes a look into Ubisoft's new online feature, Uplay. Is Ubisoft's attempt at enhancing the experience of a few of their key games a stroke of genius or just a fickle attempt at getting us to play for more useless game accessories?

The game of R.U.S.E. presents world conflict from this point of view, where strategy is as much a game of poker as of chess. You are Major Joe Sheridan, an American officer in the armored cavalry, as he leads his troops from North Africa to Italy, France, Holland, the Ardennes, and finally Germany. Sheridan will have to create his own strategy, decipher the enemy’s, and use all of the tricks at his disposal to gain the advantage.

Ubisoft's E3 09 conference is underway and they have just shown a trailer for their new strategy war game RUSE. It showed 2 guys sitting at a very cool table controlling the battle with their hands.
