"The R.U.S.E. team has announced that there will be Free Multiplayer Weekend starting July, 15th and it appears that Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 players will, once again, be left out of the fun. A PC based Beta may be easier, more economical and less challenging to conduct but I fear that any of the issues surrounding the console versions that are discovered during betas may remain unresolved at launch."

"Ubisoft has announced that the Public Beta Test for the highly anticipated Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game, R.U.S.E., has reached over one million downloads from the digital distribution portal Steam. Slated for release on June 4th 2010, R.U.S.E. is set to reinvigorate the RTS genre by introducing deception techniques that allow players to bluff their enemies to lead their nation's army to victory in war."

"Unfortunately, that will not be the case, as Ubisoft announced today that Splinter Cell Conviction has been delayed out of its current fiscal year and into April 2010. The publisher also said that its all-new World War II strategy game R.U.S.E. has been pushed into its upcoming fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2010, to March 31, 2011. Ubisoft gave no explanation for the delays."

"Following the revelation of the UPlay unlock actions and rewards set to be including in the forthcoming Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction, Ubisoft has now announced the details for the third title set to promote the new service. Due to launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC next year, R.U.S.E. is an upcoming Real-Time Strategy (RTS) videogame developed by Eugen Systems."

In August Ubisoft gave gamers a chance to sign up for the beta of their new RTS game RUSE, the game which pits players into a RTS controlled by hand gestures and body movement. The beta has finally been released today and if you were one of the many to have signed up, codes are being emailed today.

The game of R.U.S.E. presents world conflict from this point of view, where strategy is as much a game of poker as of chess. You are Major Joe Sheridan, an American officer in the armored cavalry, as he leads his troops from North Africa to Italy, France, Holland, the Ardennes, and finally Germany. Sheridan will have to create his own strategy, decipher the enemy’s, and use all of the tricks at his disposal to gain the advantage.

Ubisoft's E3 09 conference is underway and they have just shown a trailer for their new strategy war game RUSE. It showed 2 guys sitting at a very cool table controlling the battle with their hands.
