New Samba de Amigo Screenshots: Bringing Japan Up to Speed

There are some new screenshots for Sega and Gearbox Software's music game Samba de Amigo, which is rocking the virtual maracas on the Wii. It hadn't been formally announced in Japan until recently, with the Japanese press really getting the first real dose of screenshots for the game. Along with the familiar Samba cast, other Sega characters will be joining Amigo at his party, with Sonic and Ulala both confirmed to get their groove on.

Sega Consumer Press Conference 2008: Sega's Upcoming Japanese Lineup

In the latest batch of screens to come out of the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany for Sega's upcoming rhythm revival, Samba De Amigo for the Wii, there is a brand new iconic Sega character joining Amigo in his jubilant maraca shaking. This new iconic character? Ulala, of Space Channel 5 fame.
