Older indie style 8 bit games are the favourite of many an older gamer, and starting to interest many of the newer generation of gamers coming online every day.
With platforms like XBLA and PSN, these great games that really are simple yet fun, are now accessible to almost anyone. COme check out OXCGN's recent playthrough of the game . .while not the best game in the world, it is fun, and well worth the read if you plan on nabbing a copy off PSN or XBLA.

Missing out on the traditional shoddy movie/game tie-in affair, the new game based on Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World throws everything back to a simpler time of 2D movement, bitty soundtracks and enemies turning into loose change. Though it seems like the cheapest solution for a playable package on offer, it shows that it's sometimes best to go back to basics, and to relive the glort days of gaming.
