The new trailer for Section 8: Prejudice is awesome. It's apparent they are ready to rumble with Halo: Reach. In the trailer it says "There's nothing evolved about fighting".

"Following the US launch trailer hosted by Electronic Theatre earlier this morning, SouthPeak Games have released the European equivalent. With Section 8 due to arrive on PC and Xbox 360 at European retail this Friday, anticipation couldn’t be higher for the large scale multi-player First-Person Shooter (FPS)."

"Section 8, developed by TimeGate Studios, is an online multi-player orientated FPS which will utilise the recently revealed X Server technology, supporting up to thirty-two simultaneous players on Xbox 360. Electronic Theatre has previously delivered much commentary on Section 8, with a hands-on preview back in July stating that the game offered “a rewarding experience”. Both PC and Xbox 360 release are set to deliver European FPS fans a new fascination later this week."

Latest video for the upcoming multiplayer FPS Section 8. This dev diary from TimeGate Studios delves into gameplay features like "Burn In" and the every popular jet pack.

Devs are promising something different with Section 8. Let's hope they live up to their own expectations.

Latest Section 8 trailer, from publisher SouthPeak. Not a lot of fanfare surrounding this upcoming 2009 release as much as some others, but it looks promising in terms of multiplayer and customizable content... if you've been keeping up with it, that is.

Okay, I'm going to go ahead and say this now -- it looks rather like Halo.

Along with some screenshots released earlier today, TimeGate has unleashed the official Section 8 trailer for your viewing enjoyment. The game is a sci-fi FPS with a strong online/team-based element. This first trailer is CGI (or just the best game graphics' engine ever created - but doubt that) but hopefully shows off the kind of action we can expect.
