"Behold: GameZone’s Top 10 XBLA Games since the Xbox 360’s launch in November, 2005. There are plenty of great games that didn’t make the list for one reason or another, but until a port of The Simpsons arcade game arrives, this is our list. It’s interesting to note that the majority of these titles were published by Microsoft."
"Xbox Live Arcade is home to a lot of unique titles of all types of genres. The Spawn Kill crew fished for each of one of our favorite picks available on the marketplace that we’d recommend to our readers. As usual PopCap games sneak in and are some of our coveted addictions, but don’t be surprised if a zombie or explosionary icon sneaks up on you either. There’s a little something for everyone out there so check out our list of XBLA favorites and let us know what your favorite is!"
The slimmer and quieter new Xbox 360 S model should bring plenty of new consumers into the Xbox 360 universe. Of course, buying the system won’t mean much without purchasing some games as well. Here are the top 10 exclusive games to buy along with the new Xbox 360 S model.

"Side-scrollers are a genre that might be limited due to being on a flat plain, but developers have experimented with them enough to make some amazing titles. Some could argue that side-scrollers are among one of the most important genres for Platformers, Beat-Em-Ups, and Puzzle Adventure games. This generation has been great at keeping side-scrollers alive: the following titles are among the best this generation has to offer."
"Some great Xbox Live Arcade games were released in 2009 from Shadow Complex to Battlefield 1943. 2009 was a year that got Xbox 360 owners to plunk down their MS Points. Microsoft wanted to know which games Xbox 360 owners liked best so put up a poll on Xbox Live for people to vote on their favorite games. The results came in today and the motorcycle stunt game, Trials HD, came away with the Best Overall Arcade Game of 2009."
"As 2009 came to a close, we posted a weeklong look at our favorite games of 2009. However, those 40 titles (including the eight we ultimately chose to honor as "The Best of the Best") were far from the only good games released last year. And did our picks match up with the rest of the game industry? But most importantly, what we really wanted to know was which game was truly the best game of 2009."

We know this time of year there are a bunch of new Xbox 360 owners out there, so we've put together this list of the ten essential XBLA games you should download pronto. This is by no means a comprehensive list of everything the service has to offer,..."

After a brief hiatus and a little tooling in the inner workings behind Binge Gamer, The Bender podcast is back with a tighter show. We hit up the piracy topic (ie the lines being drawn between downloading something versus selling something downloaded), talk a little about the Shadow Complex controversy, and of course how the G-Force demo is kind of cool. "It never gets too hard on normal difficulty, so I found myself going for all of the items because I just didn’t want this game to end. It took me a little under six hours, and I can see a lot of you playing through it again on hard as I did.
This is definitely the best arcade game I have seen so far on Xbox Live and it is well worth the 1200 MS Points price tag, in length, looks and gameplay."
"Chair Entertainment's Shadow Complex is officially the most downloaded single-player title in Xbox Live Arcade history, with 200,000 copies purchased since the game went live on August 19th.
We loved Shadow Complex, and so did you folks apparently, with stellar review scores and one-week sales so spectacular that Microsoft had to issue a celebratory press release. Multiplayer titles dominate Xbox Live Arcade, and single-player games generally don't perform nearly as well, but Chair seems t..."
"Admittedly, I haven’t played any of the Castlevania games except for about twenty minutes of Symphony of the Night. One series I have played to death, however, is Metroid; Super Metroid is definitely in my top 10, if not top 20, games of all-time. So Epic and Chair’s announcement of Shadow Complex and the immediate comparison to Super Metroid had me excited. Even though I wasn’t familiar with Chair’s previous works, I trusted that Epic would never release a subpar title. My expectations were..."

"Melty Blood: Actress Again (PS2 Import)
The original Melty Blood came out for the PC back in 2002. The story and characters were based on Tsukihime, a visual novel created by Type-Moon (the in-game story takes place about a year after the events in Tsukihime). Some are under the impression that Melty Blood borrowed heavily from Guilty Gear X, but in reality, the game took many of its cues from the Queen of Heart fighting game series. In fact, Queen of Heart '98 was released by French-Bread..."
"In a sprawling, jovial interview with Mark Rein, Vice President of Epic Games, we got talking about the high overall quality of the titles on show at E3 2009. Eventually we discussed Shadow Complex and what the future holds for XBLA, including the quality and value of downloadable games across all platforms. But first a bit of context…

Like there’s no question to me that all the games look better. You know they’re all getting better and better. ..."
Those pesky embargoes on Shadow Complex reviews were lifted this morning, so you'll be seeing a lot of those pop up today across the Internet. Check out Neoseeker's take on this solid platformer for Xbox LIVE Arcade, developed by Epic Games and Chair Entertainment.

All games include:
So that's basically spending $65.00 USD for $10 back, almost 15 percent.
"A love letter to Metroid. That's the pitch Epic games has put to players anticipating the release of Shadow Complex – a side-scrolling action-adventure-platformer in the traditions of Nintendo's venerable series. In no uncertain terms, Shadow Complex is, indeed, very much Metroid for your Xbox 360 and PC. But, excising the space-borne Samus Aran for Jason 'Captain-Generic-White-Guy-Harrison Ford-Meets-Nathan-Drake-Meets-Nathan-Fillion' Flemming, what really remains is a game with its own uniq..."
