Infogrames, a company that owns half of Atari, have announced a new studio down in London for the same company. It's designed to focus on the "the development of mass-market games for online-enabled devices including PCs and consoles."

Paulina Bozek, SingStar executive, will be in charge of the whole operation. As you can image, she is pretty excited, saying that "There is a huge opportunity as gaming platforms become more ubiquitous, more connected and attract more mainstream audiences."

All of the SingStar games have turned out quite successful and the games are quite popular in Australia - there is almost always a SingStar-related thing atop the sales charts. Since the SingStar series has progressed so well, Sony announced SingStar Amped. The tracklist has been revealed, and there is a lot of variety in the songs, ranging from Fallout Boy to Quiet Riot.
