"Zipper Interactive has done a great job handling the SOCOM franchise ever since 2002. Unfortunately, with a near annual release every year between both console and PSP titles, it’s easy for the franchise to lose some of its momentum. With SOCOM 4 releasing on April 19, the developer needs fresh features to make sure this game is worth a buy."

SOCOM 4 has to be one of the more low-key, under the radar shooters coming up this year. There are games coming next year that are more hyped than this which is strange.
SOCOM 4 feels quite refreshing, providing something different in comparison to the other modern war shooters that are quickly filling our calendars. A lot of work clearly went into putting the experience together, from the situational aspect of the plot, to the push for a more team-oriented experience.

Bear McCreary is a composer for TV series, show and video games. He did most of the scores for Battlestar Galactica TV series and also worked on Dark Void. He has officially announced that he will compose for SOCOM 4.
Sony has launched their new site that shows off all the upcoming gaming and technology which we will be seeing at the E3 Expo this fall in Los Angles, California. Their newest technology PS Move is also going to be shown there.
The E3 Expo starts June 15th and ends June 17th 2010.
